DESCRIPTION:

In which they're both in love with the same girl, but know her by different names.

EXTENDED SUMMARY:

Summer Florens made her paper route every day, including that house in the middle of the woods. Over the course of a year, she begins to know the girl inside, who calls herself Jane. Until one day, Jane disappears, leaving Summer alone. She meets Mike Wheeler, another lovesick person abandoned by his crush, a girl named Eleven. Little do they know, they're in love with the same girl.

NOTES:

— the name game— judy!

— summer is pretty timid and a great girl. she would spend her entire weekends making sure eleven was happy and would coax her through panic attacks

— her reaction to the upside down was like kind of shocked. she is willing to believe a lot of things, and when she finds out jane is this badass superpowered girl mike has been talking about she doesn't know if she can believe it

— her and eleven had this really soft and sweet relationship. summer would read eleven books and make her flower crowns

— unsurprisingly, summer is not really a badass and any sort of thing where she has to see a demodog she just started screaming and violently thrashing her arms around with her eyes closed

— max has a silent respect for her because of how dedicated she is to jane

— summer finds out jane is eleven when eleven comes back and hugs mike. it's really emotional for her

— i would prefer if eleven decides she likes summer more then mike, but if you want to make her choose mike and make summer A Mess™ that's your choice!
