DESCRIPTION: *❝The fact that Steve Harrington, a popular douche bag in my school, is at a bookclub. To say this is the most strangest thing I've seen in my life is an understatement.❞
EXTENDED SUMMARY:
IT WAS NO DOUBT MARY HENDERSON WAS A BOOK KNACK. Ever since she learned how to read and write, the girl wanted nothing to do but pick up a book and read in a small corner. Whenever they read in class, her past teacher's would have to try and get her to put the book down. So when there's a bookclub started at the local bookstore when Mary moved in with her cousin, she's absolutely thrilled. Though she's read all the books she's reading, it never hurt to re-read them, as she did with the majority of the books she had a home.
When Steve Harrington, a popular jock known for being a douchebag and an asshole, has to join because "his parents want him to be more of an intellectual," Mary's confused and surprised. But through their meeting together and afterwards, she saw a side of him that she never thought she'd seen. Which causes her to be more drawn to Steve, along with being pulled into a world of monsters & demo-dogs alongside her cousin, Dustin.
NOTES:
— okay so the summary wasn't that bad but if wanna change it up a bit, you can but just let me know.
— mary moved in with dustin and his mom because her parents was a "bad kid" (meaning she never did her homework or paid attention in her classes) so they sent her away so she could have more of a stricter environment at her new school.
— though she pays more attention in school and gets better grades, mary still and does love to read, and she's always with a book. whether it'd be new or old.
— when mary and steve join the bookclub, they have a small conversation at the start, and it slowly progresses when steve wants to talk about the books with mary, which starts their relationship.
— mary is giving a new book to steve when dustin comes along to get him to help with finding dart, which causes mary to follow not only because she wants to make sure her younger cousin is safe, but because she wants to spend more time with steve.
— i say they kiss at the end of s2, which starts their relationship that leads into s3
— mary's last name can change, but she should still be dustin's cousin!
— steve and mary's relationship should start progressing from when they first interact at the bookclub! also, mary's like the fun older sister to the kids, and they also really like her!
