I sighed. "All feeling aside," I paused and seen their looks. "John is more reasonable as King because he is more powerful."

"But-."

"Blyke, your level is 4.5, John's is...?"

"7.0"

"Wow, Okay then."

He nodded.

"I understand." Blyke was disappointed.

"You're still a Royal, Blyke." I set my hand on his shoulder.

He sighed and I decided to just drop down and sit.

"Now that I think about it, I've never had a break. There's so much going on since I've came to this school."

John sat down next to me, followed by Blyke.

"What do you mean?"

"It's almost like I'm in some sort of story and the all the author craves is action and adventure, though I can understand."

"That's silly, how can our lives be like a book?"

Kami looked towards the sky. "I don't know, it seems like everything seems too.. controlled."

They just looked at me. "Kami, you've gone crazy."

"I'm offended."

"Oh come on, our lives are just a story and something people wish were real? Kami, we're here, we're living, we're existing right now!"

I sighed and laid back.

They just laughed. I looked at them two, and it seemed like they were planning something.

They then got up, each grabbed one of my hands, and started dragging me.

"Hey! What's this about?"

They laughed, but didn't say anything.

"Where are you taking me?" I tried to turn my head, to see they were going to head down the stairs. "No! I don't want to get hurt."

They then let go, and John picked me up and carried me down the stairs.

"Are either of you going to say anything?" I demanded.

There was silence. I looked at John's face and seen he was smiling, clearly holding back a laugh.

"I guess not." I then just let them carry me.

"You want to know so badly?"

"Yes!"

"We actually had no plan, we just wanted to freak you out."

I punched John. "How dare you scare your superior!"

They laughed. "Where do you want to go?"

I shrugged. "Woaba Boba?"

"Okay." John then stopped. "Want to walk yourself?"

"Please?"

He then dropped me in the floor. "Ow." I groaned. "I didn't say drop me like a rock."

"Thought it would be funny." He and Blyke laughed.

"Yeah, hardy har har." I mocked. I stood up and rubbed my butt, because it hurt for someone dropped me. "Can we go now?"

"Fine." They laughed.

I started walking out of the school, and of course they followed

Once we got there, we ordered our drinks and sat down.

"What did you get, Kami?"

"Strawberry banana, you?"

"Mango, it's my favorite."

"Blyke?" we turned towards Blyke and he was staring at his drink, or lack there of.

"Blyke?! You finished that already."

He just turned towards me. "Yeah?"

John and I just stared in awe.

BZZZT—

"What was that?"

"That was my phone." John pulled his phone out of his pocket and started reading. "Ah, no!" John groaned. "My dad is coming because I haven't checked up with him recently."

"One protective dad." I snickered.

"Hey, it's still because of what happened in New Bostin."

"Oh, he doesn't trust you." I laughed.

I seen Blyke laughing. He must have been amused.

"Kami, I swear."

"You should respond to your dad."

"Why? He's coming anyway."

"You have a point."

"Wait..." I turned to Blyke and seen him confused. "What happened in New Bostin?" Blyke looked intently at John.

"It's a long story."

"I have all day." Blyke really wanted to know.

"Uhh, I think I heard someone calling my name, gotta go!" John ran off without saying anything.

"He left his drink." I laughed.

He then ran back and grabbed his drink. "Forgot this." And then he ran off again.

I looked over at Blyke and he shrugged. "Guess he doesn't want to talk about it."

"I understand why though."

"How come?"

"His past is similar to mine, in a way."

"And I presume you won't talk about it either?"

"Nope." I shook my head. "There's no need to worry about yours though."

"My life was pretty normal, even my childhood."

"You know, come to think of it, I actually can't remember anything prior to an incident that happened at my middle school."

"Really?"

"It's strange, I honestly can't remember anything before 7th grade."

"That is strange."

"You think we should find a way to remember?"

"Can't hurt."

"Then let's go to my dorm and do some research."

I got up, grabbed my drink, and headed out, Blyke following.

Strange that John ran out like that without telling me why. Like there was no obvious reason why he left other than to avoid Blyke's question, but still...

We finally arrived to my dorm, and Seraphina and Amber were watching TV on the couch.

"Hey Kami!.... and Blyke?"

"He's here to help me do some research."

"On what? We don't have a school project, so we?"

"Nah, this is just something." I was vague.

I walked over to my computer and started looking up how to recover forgotten memories.

"Okay, this site says it's possible to get them back, but there's no exact way to do so."

"Do you know how you lost them?"

"Nope— wait...." I tried to think back. "I think I was hypnotized."

"What are you two talking about?" Amber walked up behind us.

"I will explain everything soon, trust me." I reassured.

"Okay." She sighed.

Blyke turned to me. "So you think you could get hypnotized into remembering?"

"So should I call a good hypnotist?"

"Yes, but will this really work?"

I shrugged. "Possibly?"
