"You boys wait out here while I check on your Mother first." I sat Jeonghan down on a waiting room chair and placed Jihoon on his lap once they all nodded. I then walked up to the reception desk and asked what room my wife was in.

She gave me the room number and pointed me down the hall. I thanked her and bowed before resisting to run down the empty hallway and burst through her door.

"Thank God you're here Seungcheol." I leaned down and gently kissed her on the cheek as she smiled at me. She then turned confused when she noticed the lack of tiny humans.

"Please tell me you didn't leave the kids at home." I laughed nervously and she smacked my arm.

"Love you too, but no I didn't. They're out in the waiting room, there was something I wanted to talk to you about first." Her smile dropped as my gaze did.

"Youngsuk took Minseo, didn't he?" I nodded and was about to ask how she knew that, but beat me to it. "Mother's instinct. You want me to tell the kids, don't you?" I nodded again and she sighed.

"Only if you're up to it though."

She laughed and I gave her a confused look. "If I let you tell them, you would spill everything Minseo never wanted to tell them." It was my turn to sigh as I rubbed the back of my neck.

"Yeah, probably. Should I go get them?" She nodded and readjusted herself on the bed while I walked out of the room to find them.

Please be in the same spot. Oh my gosh it's a miracle.

All nine kids were still right where I left them. I took Jihoon from Jeonghan and grabbed Hoshi's hand, since he hadn't stopped crying, and led them towards their Mother.

I felt a tug on my sleeve and looked down at Jun. "Why Mommy here?"

"Mommy fell and hit her head on the table. She's okay now." He nodded and kept walking.

"Hansol, don't touch that." "Watch where you're going, Seungkwan." "Minghao, stop poking Jun." "Jeonghan, don't stare at people. It's not nice." "Dk, this isn't the place to sing." Why is the walk down this hall so much longer than it was a few minutes ago?

I opened the door for them and they all piled in. I did a head count of the kids in the room before shutting the door behind myself.

"Mommy!" I tried to stop them from piling on top of her, but I was a few seconds too late. I stood near the wall with a sleeping Jihoon, while she kissed the tops of their heads and positioned them around her so she wasn't getting completely squished.

"Where Minseo Noona?" My wife gave me a glance before turning back to Joshua and stroking his hair.

"Minseo is protecting us right now." I never thought of wording it like that. This is why we came here.

Minghao pouted and started fidgeting a bit. "Dat my job."

"This was someone only Minseo could protect us from."

"Who the man?" She sighed at Hansol and looked at me again. Ooh! I can answer this one!

"He's a bad man." My wife just rolled her eyes, but it actually worked. I mentally celebrated for a moment before Jeonghan spoke up.

"When is Noona coming home? She not take her stuff, so she come back soon?" I felt the tears sting the back of my eyes. They really have no clue what's going on.

"Let's just hope she comes back soon."
