Joshua's POV

We need Appa, Han. He will tell us how to get Chan to stop crying and calm Jihoonie down.

I didn't get a response from Hansol, though, because Jeonghan hyung came running in to tell us he was going outside with Jihoon. As soon as hyung ran back out though, Hansol nodded.

As soon as I saw that Jun had Chan in a decent hold, I ran out of the room myself. Sweet, sweet silence.

No need to rub it in, Shua.

I smiled, even though it wasn't my intention, and grabbed the house phone. I only remembered half of Appa's number, so I had to look on the fridge.

I dialed the number and held the phone up to my ear. I had no idea what to say when Appa answered, so I just spilled pretty much everything. A few hot tears trickled down my face from my internal frustration. Frustration that I didn't know how to do much of anything without an adult.

"Joshua, I need you to calm down and tell me how long Chan has been crying." I looked at the clock and my eyes widened.

"A little over thirty minutes." I heard Appa take a deep breath before answering me.

"What have you tried to do?"

"For Chan or Jihoon?"

"Both."

"Jeonghan hyung took Jihoon outside where it's quiet and we've done everything for Chan." Appa laughed a bit and I wrinkled my brow. Why is that funny to him?

"Of course you did. Can you put the phone near his ear so he can hear me?"

"Are you sure you want me to do that?"

Is Appa helping, Shua?

Hold on, I'm coming into the room in second.

"Yes I'm sure Joshua." I shrugged and walked back into the screaming of Chan. I held the phone up to Chan's ear, and he seemed to calm down a bit. But as soon as I took it away, he went back to screaming. So I put the phone back to his ear.

After five minutes of holding the phone, Chan finally fell asleep. A few tears were still on his face, but I wasn't going to risk waking him up to dry them. I supervised Jun putting Chan into his crib, and started talking to Appa again.

"What did you do?"

"I sang him a song. Next time he does that and the problem isn't obvious, just sing." I sighed. Han, all we had to do was sing.

I saw Hansol's face get wiped of emotion and we both just semi glared at Chan.

"Well, thanks Appa. Good luck with work!"

"You're welcome, Joshua. Bye."

"Bye!" I hung up the phone and started walking back to the kitchen to put it away.

"Did the Meanies sleep through that?" The Chinas shrugged at my question, but Hansol just pointed to the living room. Sitting in the middle of the floor, surrounded by toy cars, was Mingyu and Wonwoo.

"What are you doing up?" Ming asked as he bent down in front of the two. They shrugged, barely acknowledging his question and continued playing.

"Play!" Mingyu dragged Minghao down to the floor and sat on his lap so he couldn't get up. I watched as Ming instinctively started to play with them, and Hansol and I looked at each other in panic.

We have to get everyone back to bed, Han.

I know, Shua, but how? They're wide awake, and I don't feel like sleeping either.

"You can play in the morning since it's Friday today." The Meanies started to whine, but Hansol's eyes lit up.

"Can we have a sleepover since it's Friday?" I thought about it for a second, and nodded. Han and I instantly ran to where the sleeping bags were and started to get them out.

Living room?

I nodded and started bringing the sleeping bags and blankets in. As I was setting up the pile with Hansol, Jeonghan hyung came in carrying a sleeping Jihoon.

"What are you doing?" He sat down Jihoon on the couch and went back to the door to lock it.

"Sleepover." Jun responded, and he gently laid a blanket on Jihoon.

"Where's BooSeokSoon?" Jeonghan hyung asked, and I remembered they never came out of their room except for to get hyung.

"I'll go get them." Jeonghan hyung nodded and I walked into their room, lightly knocking first.

"Hey, we're all hanging a sleepover in the living room if you want to join us." The three of them jumped off of the bed they were all on and ran past me to the living room.

"Can we watch a movie?" Seungkwan asked, and we all looked at Jeonghan hyung. He shrugged and BooSeokSoon went to where we keep our movies while Jun set up the TV.

We all got comfortable in our blankets and sleeping bags, the majority of us on the floor, but we kept the volume down. No one wanted to wake Chan up again.

One by one, we all started sleeping. I fell asleep around half way through the movie, making it around two in the morning. The eleven of us had all made it through the screaming, and solved it on our own. Well, not really, but Appa wasn't technically here.

I felt like we could accomplish anything.

It just would be easier if Mom were here.
