Chapter 45 - Ending

~ Minerva P.O.V ~

We left off. The Akiyama household wasn't far from us by now.

I stopped the three as we watched the household from a bush, hidden. The two new members of Sabertooth walked into the household.

I couldn't see the Akiyama's.

"Hey, should we go in?" Sting asked.

I shook my head. "We'll wait a bit longer."

Not even ten minutes passed, Sakura and Ezra walked out of the household.

I stood up. They quickly turned to me and ran to us.

"Any findings?" I asked.

They shook their head.

"No, they're a different Akiyama family." Sakura responded.

"That's good," I replied. I turned to the other three who stood up behind me. That was until I saw my magic iPad glow.

"Huh?" Sting spoke. "What's that?"

I stiffened my lips. "A message."

"No, I mean what is it? I've never seen anything like it before."

Sting pointed to my magic iPad. I let out a small "oh" before I replied.

"A magic iPad. It's a new model used for communication."

He nodded. "Um...okay?"

I took it out of my pocket. It was really small so it fit. It was a message from the hospital.

Sting gasped.

As I suspected, he was looking over my shoulder.

"M'lady! I have to go!"

Yukino frowned and Rogue sighed.

"Sting," I sternly said.

Sting perked up. "Yes?"

"I will allow you to leave if you go to the council meeting straight after that." I told him.

What am I saying?

"However, I won't give you any of the pay."

Sting sighed and nodded. "Alright alright, let me go already."

Yukino and Rogue turned their attention to Sting. That was until Yukino turned to me.

"M'lady, what is this about?"

"Nothing," I told her.

"But it is something if Sting reacted."

I arched a brow and sighed. "Leave already, Sting. "

"But M'lady, why is he leaving in the middle of the job? "

"Silence!" I shouted angrily. "Sting has some business with the council so he has to leave."

There was silence. Yukino slowly nodded as she backed away.

Sting smiled. "Alright, I'll go."
