Part thirty four- Daisy

It's been about five weeks since I last saw Marshall and as i make my way to my seat in business class on the plane that's taking me back to his home to see him, all I can think about is the fact that I still don't know how I'm going to do this,
I've thought about nothing else since I left him asleep in the castle and fled to France.

I have no choice but to end it with him.

Rohan and Marcus had turned up in France after I'd been there for a week with news that Marcus couldn't find a way out for us, the wedding was going to happen, I'd been hoping for a miracle so that I wouldn't have to end it with him but that was it, it was all over.

There was something else I should have been equally worried about but I'd pushed that too the back of my mind and was living in denial, something I should have been taking better care of, but I ignored it all and concentrated on how to end things with Marshall.

I was expecting Marshall to pick me up from the airport but instead I was greeted by Laney and Whitney’s smiling faces

“We wanted to pick you up, we won! Dad's at home sulking!”

Poor Marshall! my face ached as I laughed at their antics on the way to Marshall's house, I was going to miss them so much, Marshall would never admit it but he and Kim had raised three amazing children.

“where are we going girls?” I ask curiously, it may have been dark last time I left the house here but we didn't go this way I know that much.

“Dad’s meeting you somewhere, we're dropping you off and then taking your bags to the house" 

They chatter on incessantly and I'm sitting wondering what Marshalls up to now!
They pull off the main road and drive through a beautiful park

Something that looked out of place amongst the industrial looking backdrop of Detroit.

They pull up outside a large building and tell me I'm to go inside and he'll be waiting for me, my heart skips a beat at the thought of seeing him and being able to touch him

“Where are we guys?” I ask,

“Belle Isle park and this is the aquarium”

I laugh “Girls don't ever tell your dad I said this but christ he's so cute" they burst out laughing and I leave the car heading for the front doors of the building, momentarily forgetting the thing I'm actually here to do, I open the door cautiously and peek inside its so beautiful, the entire ceiling is tiled with shiny green tiles that reflect the lights and when you stand under them make you feel like you're under the sea, the water from the tanks reflecting help to make it so,   the walls are lined with tanks of varying sizes
