I will say this, from a writers point of view, Jess has done something very risky and very impressive. Many writers, including myself, are super scared to kill off characters or hurt characters in anyway for many reasons. Readers/Viewers can react horribly and never read/watch anything you make ever again.
As a fans point...actually it's the same as my writers point sorry!
