"A Mole"

Sorry for the short chapter.

Chase

"They could be anywhere around the fucking world." Aiden stated, frustratedly. "We don't even know what they want with George."

"What if they want to sell him? Oh, God. We have to find him quick." Aliyah said and paced the office.

"Okay, what have we got so far?" Carlos asked, walking into the office. He's been with Vivian at the hospital for an entire week. She still hasn't woken up.

"Nothing. We have nothing." Logan mumbled, tapping his pencil on the table.

"Find Ben." I spoke up, making them turn to me. "We need to focus on finding Ben for now."

"We don't have that kind of time." Sam stated and I looked up at her.

"We find Ben; we find George." I said and stood up. "No one rests until we have a lead on where they could be."

"We have men patrolling the airports and we know for sure they haven't left the state or even the country." Logan said.

"Are you an idiot? Lou could've drove to another state." Carlos stated.

"Lou wouldn't. He doesn't have enough patience to sit in a car for even five minutes. And with George with him, he definitely won't last going to another state in a car." Virgil announced.

"Okay, I'll get the men to start looking for Ben." Aiden said, standing up. I watched as he walked away.

Aiden's never been so worried. He cares deeply for Vivian and George.

Soon, they all left the room and I sat at my desk, thinking about Vivian.

I love her so much. And I'm such an idiot for hurting her. That's all I do. I hurt people.

I hate myself.

And before I knew it, I was in tears.

If only I had told her the truth. I'm such a fucking idiot.

Carlos

I got to Vivian's hospital room and the guards moved for me, allowing me inside. She needs protection in case someone finds out Vivian is alive and decides to come and finish the job.

I walked towards her, staring down at how beautiful she looks. Her face looks relaxed and she doesn't look worried like she always does.

"I'm so sorry, baby girl. I'm so sorry that I let you down." I cried and took her hand in mine. "It's been a long week without you. Please w-wake up soon. I know you can fight it. You can do it. I believe in you."

"Hey." I turned as Emily put a hand on my shoulder. "How about we get out of here?" She asked.

"I'm staying with Vivian." I replied, turning away from her and wiping my tears away.

"Carlos, come on. We don't even know if she'll wake up." Emily said, grabbing my hand. "You haven't spent any time with me. You can stay with her later."

"Not right now-"

"Whatever." She rolled her eyes and went to walk away.

"Okay. Just wait." I sighed and kissed Vivian's forehead before taking Emily's hand and walking away with her.

Chase

"Chase." Virgil whispered, grabbing my arm and forcing me to my office with him. "We have a mole."

"What makes you think that?" I asked and furrowed my eyebrows, meeting his eyes.

"How else would Ben and Lou know we were all gone from the house?" Virgil muttered. "We can't trust anyone."

"Get logan, Aliyah, Sam, and Aiden in here." I said and went to my desk as he left the room.

Soon, Virgil walked in with the rest of them. He shut and locked the door.

"Someone's been feeding Lou information about us." I disclosed, standing from my chair. "Where is Carlos?"

"He went back to the hospital. Emily is probably with him as well. He said he'll be back here." Sam explained.

"Text him and tell him to come here now." I said and rubbed my forehead. "Whoever the mole is, they'll know where George is being kept."

My phone rang and everyone went silent. I held a hand up and answered the unknown number, putting the speaker on.

"Chase. It's been a while, don't you think?" Lou spoke as soon as I answered.

"Where is he?" I said, making sure I'm calm. It'll drive Lou angrier to know I'm calm about this even though I'm not.

"It's no fun if I tell you." Lou tsked.

I hung up and looked up at the others.

"You did the right thing. Who knows what he would've done next if you stayed on the call." Aiden said, frowning a bit.

"But it's still not good." Sam said, making us turn to her. "A phone call always means something bad is going to happen. We're really running out of time, Chase. Remember the phone call your ex made before she-"

"Tell Carlos to bring Emily with him." I said and glared at Sam, making her go quiet instantly.

"Emily is the mole." Logan mumbled, just realizing it.

"Think about it. She knows Carlos is involved with some scary shit. Any girl would've ran, but she stayed. And she's so eager to know where we go and when we do. And remember the time she kept asking Virgil to tell her where George stayed?" Aiden said, standing up. "I'm going to kill her."

"She knows where George is. If we kill her, we lose our lead." I said, making sure every single one of them know.

"Guys!" Carlos shouted and I nodded once. We all left the office and I saw Emily with him.

"How's Vivian?" I asked and he looks a bit surprised to hear I'm asking about her.

"The same as always." Carlos replied. "I keep talking to her, hoping she can hear me."

"Girls." I muttered and turned to Aliyah and Sam.

Aliyah was quick to grab Emily and slam her to the ground.

"Hey! What the fuck?" Carlos shouted and went to help Emily, but Virgil and Logan held him back.

"You know what to do." I told the girls and they dragged Emily away.

"What the fuck is going on?" Carlos asked and turned to me. Virgil and Logan let him go.

"She's been telling Lou everything. She's the reason why Vivian is in the hospital and the reason why George could end up dead." Aiden spoke when I didn't.

"No. Emily wouldn't do that-"

"Think about it, man." Logan said, cutting him off. "She's been so eager to know about everything and she's always all up on everyone. You'll see."

"This is the part I hate." Virgil said. "Waiting."

That's makes two. Waiting is the worst part of this all.
