Somebody To You

The first asignment for the new year had already been planned; the boys wanted me to colab with them on a version of their song Somebody To You.

Brad and I had already recorded an acoustic version of the song for a bit of fun but because Joe loved it so mcuh, he said we could record it for real with everyone.

We all crammed into the recording booth in the most amazing studio in London near where the boys and I had been staying the last few days as they were doing a lot of interviews and signings in the city.

"Are you ready?" The producer asked as we all slipped on our headphones and adjusted the microphones.

"Wait!" I excalimed before pulling my phone out of my pocket and snapping a group selfie with our headphones on.

"@olivawilson: Studio time!! with @thevampsband #SomebodyToYou :)"

The fans already knew about this collaboration so I wasn't telling a massive secret by tweeting the photo.

"Lets do this!" Tristan excalimed as he got behind his drum kit. The rest of us all picked up our guitars and waited for the signal that the recording had begun. Brad sang the first verse and I did the second verse and everything after that was a duet with Brad and the chorus with the others.

Once we had finished recording and everything was complete, we decided to go to our favourite place to celebrate: Nandos.

Joe went back to his office as he had stuff to do so James drove the minivan we came in to nandos.

Luckily, it wasn't that busy so we got a good table near the back. We all ordered our food as well a chicken roulette to share between us all, I of course got the hottest piece which left everyone in hysterics!

As we were about to finish up and pay, James' phone started ringing so he left the table to go and answer it.

We all sat quietly, waiting for James to return. When he did, he looked slightly panicked.

"Guys Joe needs to see us right now but he won't tell me why. We need to go!" He informed us all.

Since I wasn't actually part of the band, I decided to take the tube back to our hotel and wait for the boys there. I sat with Brad's laptop on netflix, watching anything decent I could find.

The boys' meeting took forever and I was starting to get very bored and worried. What could Joe possibly want that he couldn't tell them at the studio?! Did he decide that the version of Somebody To You featuring me wasn't good enough to release?!

My thoughts were interupted as the boys walked through the door with a very glum Brad trailing behind them.

"Olivia, we have some news.."

A/N: Bit of a filler but still a kinda decent chapter.
