"Are you the new hire?" The barista asked as she move closer to hear the girl.}

"Y-yeah." Mina lied and gave the barista a smile that the person surely can't resist.

"There's a door besides the restroom sign, rotate the doorknob 360 degrees to open it." The barista winked and proceeded on serving the upcoming customer.

Mina quickly followed the baristas insruction, her heart was pounding, she doesn't even know what was waiting on the other side of the door.

"Rooftop." Mina smiled, as she trusted her guts more than her murderous mind.

"Hey!"

Mina heard someone shout at her when she reached the rooftop, she shut her eyes as she didn't want to be caught. 'I'm dead.'

"Mina yah!"

Mina then open her eyes as soon as she heard her name but she couldn't find the person who knows her.

"Mina!"

Mina then found the source of the voice, it was Chaeyoung - who was at her own cafe's rooftop. They were facing each other, a deep space between the building. Mina moved closer to the edge so she can see, hear, and talk to Chaeyoung.

"Be careful!" Chaeyoung yelled agressively, Mina was being scolded again, "Why are you there?!"

"I was looking for you!" Mina trembles from the cold wind.

"Are you crazy?!"

Mina was standing at the edge of the rooftop, trembling from the cold, smiling, she might be gone crazy.

"Stop avoiding me!" Mina screamed as loud as she can, she never tries to communicate with anyone with that voice.

"I'll pick you up at the entrance!" Chaeyoung shouted and run through the exit of the cafe from the back entrance.

Chaeyoung patiently wait for Mina at the bar's entrance. After ten minutes, Mina wasn't still there,

"What taking so long." Chaeyoung's short temper starts to enrage her, she tried to look up at the rooftop of the bar but the ceiling was too thick.

"Fuck this." Chaeyoung then gone inside of the bar, she got upstairs and search for a rooftop access, "How did you get there?" Chaeyoung tries to open a door that seemingly be the way to the rooftop, but the doorknob was too loose to open.

"Hey, are you the new hire?" The waiter with a tray tried to ask Chaeyoung but she was ignored by the latter, "Hey. Are you working here?"

"Yeah! I'm late!" Chaeyoung annoyingly said as she looked at the waiter.

"You should have told me." The waiter then fully rotated the doorknob and stared at Chaeyoung, "See? Easy."

Chaeyoung came rushing up to the stairs, she held her breath as she reached the last step. Chaeyoung then looked by the edge of the rooftop, Mina was still there - sitting by the edge, her feet was hanging in the air, there was no hint from her that she was scared to fall over.

"Hey." Chaeyoung tiredly said, she was tired from all of the adrenaline rush she felt.

Chaeyoung decides to seat beside Mina, but was farther to the edge.

"Have you gone crazy?" Chaeyoung softly said and sniffed, from the cold breeze at the top.

"Sorry." Mina said looking down at the pavement down her.

"Come on, I'll take you home." Chaeyoung held Mina's wrist but Mina wasn't moving from her position.

"It's okay. Leave me again."

"Don't be like this." Chaeyoung sounded frustrated, Mina was really being stubborn.

"You're the one being like this." Mina turned to her and stood up from her position, "What's happening to you?"

Chaeyoung did the same and face the latter, "Mina."

"Tell me, right now!" Mina screamed from the stress she's been dealing with.

"You." Chaeyoung paused as the cold breeze drew her closer to Mina, "You're the one that's happening to me."

"What?" Mina looked at Chaeyoung irritatedly, her nose was already red from the cold.

"It hurts." Chaeyoung looked down to her feet, her dark memories was clear again, "You're the one who've left me, I have stayed by your side, but you choose to leave me."

"I-I. ." Mina tried to figure out the words, but there was no words coming out from her.

"I hate to see you." Chaeyoung then looked at Mina, her eyes was red, but the tears were holding back. "Your lips, your eyes, your hair, your laugh, the way you talk, walk, and chuckles? I hate it." Her voice was stern, she's not taking anything back.

"Sorry." Mina teared up, she knows how guilty she is on leaving her.

"We both had it hard. It's time that we both leave each other." Chaeyoung sniffed as she stifle her tears. She then walks away from the scene, she didn't want anyone to see her cry, especially Mina.

"No." Mina grabs Chaeyoung's arms and everything was silent for a minute. "I told myself that if one day, wind brings you back to me— I promise, I'll make you stay."

Chaeyoung didn't want to look around as her tears were already falling from her cheeks. Her heart felt weak as she grabs her chest, rippling her shirt.

She then felt Mina's grip on her arms loosen, she looked back at Mina and saw her falling to the ground loosing her consciousness.

"Mina!"
