This is not an update. I realize this is going to be irritating and I apologize to my readers in advance. I really am sorry, but I have decided to put this story and a couple others on Mature. Aka. you have to follow me if you want to read.
I know this is frustrating and I used to hate it when other authors did this, but this may be temporary. Let me explain. Recently I've been noticing a LOT of underage readers reading my stories that I've specifically stated are mature. Like not underage as in younger than 18. I admit, I read plenty of mature stories at 16 and stuff. But no. Like underage as in not even technically old enough to be on wattpad. Younger than 13. Obviously they don't say this straight up but several have reached out to me and accidentally let slip their actual ages. I have reported them once or twice but they simply made new accounts.
Like I'm sorry, but it DISTURBS me to know that a 10 year old is reading my stories that have bdsm, sex, and/or torture. As an author, I want to be able to write what I want, and I realize kids today think they're mature enough to handle all this but I can tell you that this is not the case.
So as a solution, I have blocked all underage users (that I have discovered from being able to follow me. They can still access my PG stories like the Cindy Potter series, but only those who follow me can see the mature stories. This story will be public for another week or so before I switch it to private. This is so those who are not currently following me but reading along can see this message and decide accordingly.
