The Malfoys

The letter (y1)

All the first years stood up and followed Percy to the gryffindor common room ,my stomach churned constantly by the thought of how my family will react. We went into our separate  dorms and I scanned the room to see who was there but the only person I recognised was Ginny , who Draco warned me not to 'consort with'  my family would probably disown me if I became friends with her.

I tried to cast all thoughts from my mind and go to bed in the hopes that I'll sort everything out tomorrow. It didn't take long for me to pass out

Morning
The suns welcoming warm glow pierced through the windows waking everyone up . I quickly got changed and went to the hall for some food , which was the only thing keeping me going . Suddenly a swarm of owls flew into the hall dropping packages and letters into the laps of students . I saw Florita my families owl swoop down dropping a letter into my lap . I was overcome with curiosity as I didn't expect mother or father to send me a letter so soon as I haven't sent them one and it isn't my birthday

To y/n
We have been informed of your recent housing and it has taking a toll on the family as we believe it could damage our  flawless families reputation in the slytherin house. Your actions have really upset and disappointed your father and I as well as the rest of the y/l/n family so I think it would be best for you stay at Hogwarts for Christmas till things settle down  , your father has already sent a letter so it should all be set. Stay out of trouble and keep your head down ,we don't want the rumour to spread and to further ruin our families reputation

My eyed welled up with tears and I quickly left the hall to escape the prying eyes. I turned a corner on a corridor to see malfoy walking by , it suddenly clicked - malfoy sent the letter he's the reason I can't come home for Christmas

" malfoy !" I yelled quickly wiping the tears from my eyes .

"Oh it's you the blood traitor " he said as he turned to face me. The words pierced my heart stabbing it , leaving it a tattered piece of meat.

" blood traitor ? Blood traitor " I repeated

" you sent them a letter didn't you?" I asked pulling out my wand

" what are you going to do poke me " he said with a smirk in his face

" did you send them a letter saying I got into gryffindor ?"

" yeah "he replied his irritated face unfazed

" why would you do that ? I wanted to be the one to tell them in my own way at the right time. My family hate me now , I'm not invited home for Christmas because of you " I whimpered fighting to hold back the tears which were slowly starting to roll down my face

" it's not my problem , you betrayed your family name"

" you know that wasn't my fault"

" I only know that your a clueless ,dumb, little  , blood traitor of a gryffindor , who is not worthy enough to talk to the bottom of my foot "

" take that back malfoy" demanded a soft voice from behind , I quickly turned to see Ginny standing there wand raised

" or what" he replied daringly at Ginny to which she responded by shouting

" flippendo " making  malfoy fall to the floor . She ran to me whilst malfoy got up

" are you ok ?" She whispered . I gave her a slight nod staring at malfoy who just pulled a face of disgust and stormed off .

" you shouldn't of got involved " I said as we started to walk to our first lesson

" after the way he was speaking to you why didn't you do something ?"

" cos whatever I do to him , he'll write to his parents who will tell my parents and I will get blamed and a lot of heat for it when I go hone at the end of the year "

" what about Christmas ?"

" they don't want to see me" I sniffed

" I'm sure that's not true " she said reassuringly .

" they even wrote it in a letter to make  it clear " I said waving my letter as we entered our first lesson , history of magic with professor binns.

Sorry I don't think this is as good as the first one  I've written this very late I'll try make changes another day if it's really bad ;)
