I packed my stuff without knowing exactly how long I was going to be there , mainly leggings , jogging bottoms , jeans and some tops - anything I would be comfortable cleaning in. My parents and I used floo powder to get to the Malfoys who were waiting for us as we arrived right on time at 7:00 pm for dinner.
Everyone sat round the dinner table smartly dressed trying to start a conversation.
" malfoy , how's school ?" My mother asked
" very good actually I got on the Slytherins Quiditch team and professor Snape said I'm top of the class inpotions" he said smugly
"That's amazing ,your family must be so proud of you " I felt as if my mother said this just to spite me
"Y/N how about you how was your first year ?"
Narcissa asked me as I was about to down a large price of chicken , but I quickly put my fork down
" a bit hectic actually my best friend was being possessed by vol- he who must not be named through a diary luckily Harry Potter was there"
I replied glaring at Lucius but my gaze was broken by the kick I received from my mother
" other than that it was pretty normal I think I'm doing really well in charms "
"Charms that's interesting " Narcissa added in hopes of continuing the conversation on a different subject
After dinner some hired people cleaned the table and took away our bowls. It was time to say good bye to my parents and wait for the morning horrors to come.
