It's You again God,
How wonderful to have Your presence with me to start another day! It's amazing that even though we get a fresh start each day, we tend to carry over many of our concerns and worries from yesterday into the new day. It's not long before they are weighing us down! Sometimes we spend our day going over and over the same thing and perhaps even telling other people our worries.
I love how you directed me to this little verse today to remind me of how to deal with such things:
"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
1 Peter 5:7 NIV
It sounds so easy to do —just give You all our worries! Sometimes we can think we have done that because we prayed about something but then we start worrying anyway! The amplified version focuses on giving You the whole of our concerns:
"Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. [Ps. 55:22.]"

I need to do this once and for all with several things that are causing me concern. Thank You for Your love and affection that drives You to care so much for me. I am so blessed!
Today I take this care I have been carrying around .............................................and I give it to You —all of it! I rest knowing You will take care of things!
