It's You again God,
I feel You saying to me today that I need to focus more and not get distracted so easily. Even as I read Your Word and write on my iPad, many notifications pop up and they temporarily redirect my mind. Please help me to set my mind on things above!
"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God."
Colossians 3:1-3 NIV
It's a constant battle but I know my life is hidden with Christ in You. May the focus of my day be You! Please help me to focus on:
"........whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things."
Philippians 4:8 NIV
No matter what I am doing today, may I be able to say:
"My eyes are ever on the Lord......"
