Can't Sleep!

A/N This chapter is focused on J, she couldn't sleep and decided to go for a walk and something strange happened.

The Tardis was parked on a random street I couldn't remember the name all I know is it's 2019, and everyone else is in bed.

Well I mean the Doctor is out in the console doing her thing fixing her ship or just reading not sure. Yaz has gone to bed, Graham and Ryan also. I assume they are asleep.

I'm lying awake on me bed looking up to the ceiling, it was around 1am when I decided to try and sleep. Now I turn to look at my Phone I was going to find something to watch but somehow time had seriously passed it was now 4:26am. How? It was legit only 1 a moment ago I've not shut my eyes or anything Time just seemed to have speed past me like I was in slow motion or the world around me was looking up seemed like seconds now hours have passed this is not the first time this has happened and won't be the last.

I rolled out of bed and decided I'd go for a walk, I changed into some gym like clothes and put on some purple trainers I never bothered brushing my hair I stuck it in a bun and left my room.

I got to the console room and Pa was standing around with a lot of wires hanging from her arms.

"What are you doing?", I asked I startled her she turned and laughed a little.

"Ahhh J, I'm fixing the Stabilisers", she said

"Again?". I laughed this happens a lot.

"Yes, Wait", she looks over to a clock and back to me her left eye brow was now up and she squinted her eyes at me.

"What are you doing up?", she asks and drops the wires and walked forward to me, looking at what I was wearing she raised her other eyebrow "Where are you going?", she says crossing her arms "It's 4:29 in the morning".

I chuckled a little "I couldn't sleep thought I'd go for a walk and if I feel up for it work my way up to a run", I smiled.

"Righty O alright, well be careful and if you need anything", she stopped and went over to this apartment in the console I never knew existed and brought out some type of technology.

"Here", she handed me it.

"What is it?", I asked curious.

"Well, a bit like a phone but if you just say call the Doctor or whoever you want to call it will automatically call, either me or your Mum, I've added Torchwoods number UNIT and some others", she clicks this button to the side "here", she says as it comes up with contact names.

"It's faster than taken out your phone that's  all, just I'd say a communicator that works across the universe", she smiles and turns to go grab a custard cream.

"Thank you,'' I said and walked up and hugged her she laughed and hugged me back.

"Now be careful if you need anything call me", she says as I went to leave.

"Will do and thanks again Pa, I love you", I said I think this was the first time I've said that in a long while since our memories came back. I could feel the smile and the love from Pa from saying this.

"I love you too sweetie", she says in a tone almost like mother when she says sweetie to me but not quite I smiled and left.

Once I left the Tardis the cold air hit my face, it was almost refreshing but it stun a little as the wind hit off my face, I ignored it for the most part.

I started walking in a direction I've never been before well to be honest again I've no idea where we are I forgot but we explored the other way during the day so I decided I'd walk the other direction.
