"Pa?" She calls out, as her slippers shuffle along the floor. "Pa?" She calls again, on her way into the Kitchen to find the Doctor.

"She's in the library" Yaz turns and smiles at J as she and Ryan have breakfast, Graham is still asleep.

"Thanks" she smiles and heads to the Library.

"Pa?" She says once again as she enters the Library.

"Mhm?" The Doctor hums as she looks up from a book, she appears to be reading 'The Night before Wonderland?' J raises an eyebrow at the book and thinks to herself.

'Note read that later looks interesting' she shakes her head and turns her attention back to her Dad, who watches her carefully.

"I was wondering if I could skip today's adventure? I want to go home for a little while just for today? And could you pick me up tomorrow?" She smiles warmly.

"Awe, but I was going to take us on a sweet surprise adventure, but I guess that can wait", She stands up, "Though why aren't you using your Vortex?" She questions.

"Ahh, well" J laughs "I stood on it, forgetting I threw it onto my floor, but I will fix it another time" she smiles.

The Doctor raises an eyebrow but can't help but giggle at that. "Course you did" She laughs "You definitely are my Daughter" She smiles as she heads out to the Console room.

"Are you going like that?" The Doctor asks as J follows her to the Console room.

"I planned on it, I wanna get there at midnight? Then I can go to bed and sleep" she chuckled

"Sleep? You're just up?" The Doctor turns to her daughter.

She just smiles "Yes well, one wants to dream again."

"A TimeLord that loves to sleep more than being awake is very worrying" The Doctor says pulling levers and pressing buttons.

"Why?" J wonders

"Must be your mother's side, but I know you, you are either awake or wanting to sleep some more, maybe not so worrying maybe" She says "You are a funny one that's for sure sweetie" she Quotes River at the end.

"Nothing wrong with a great imagination Dad, and mine is more active when I sleep so yes shot me if you have to,'' she gets cut off,

"Shot you? I don't wanna" J laughs, at the Doctors confusion.

"Dad!" she laughs some more "anyway, but I do want to sleep some more, plus I didn't actually sleep last night I was out at a Bar" She says suddenly regretting she said that.

"You were what?" The Doctors headshots up. "You said you were away to bed?"

"Yeah sorry, change of mind", J replies nervously.

"Next time tell me okay? You don't know what could happen guess that be the reason you threw your Vortex on the floor then?" She knows the answer but asks anyway.

"Yeah, sorry. Went to change into my jammies and boom stood on it, sorry next time I'll let you know. Was just a housewarming party for Bill's new place". she says smiling.
