Y/N was all set for her daily routine. Her bow is being held by her and her bundle of arrows is hanging on her shoulder. She grabbed an apple on the way to the door.

While munching it away as she walks halfway there, her mother appeared. "Where do you think you're going?" She asked.

Y/N scowled at her mother, "Where do you think I go everyday?" She spat back.

"I think it's best for you to get to know Thomas and he gets to know you. So you should lessen your archery in the woods for a while." Her mother declared.

The girl sighed and slouch, "Fine! I'm just gonna get these things back in my room." Y/N grumbled as she walks off and head towards her room.

When she put her things down, she walked off like their tiled floor will crack with her heavy stomping.
Y/N started finding Thomas all around the place.

Wait a second, Y/N thought, why even bother? She scoffed and turned back towards her room, "I can't find him anyways. Why am I even wasting my time with this prat?" She muttered to herself as she chuckled and shake her head.

Until she bumped into Thomas' father, Lord Sangster. She looked up and faked a smile, "good morning, Lord Sangster." She greeted.

He smiled at the girl and nodded in response. "Say, where were you supposed to be headed?" He questioned her. The girl stayed silent, she tried to put up words, but nothing came out for who-knows-what reason.

"I was-ehmm, I was uhh supposed to go to t-the woods to start my day.." was all she stammered out.

"Oh, well perhaps you can take Thomas with you? Get to know each other before the marriage maybe?" He requested. The girl's eye twitched when he repeated her mother's request. Began making an alibi, "I would, sir. But I couldn't find him anywhere."

Which is partly true, she just stopped looking for him when she got hit into realization. She hoped that the duke would just let it drop. But he didn't.

"Oh, I believe he's at your astronomy tower, he likes heights." He stated.

"Really?" She asked. Huh, she thought, never thought we have something in common..

Lord Sangster nodded a yes. "Good to know, Lord Sangster. I'll be going now." She announced to him as she walked away and into the huge staircase. She lazily stared at the stairs for a while. Even though she already climbed it for thousands of times, she still thinks it is the longest staircase she'd ever climbed into.

She sighed as she starts to climb up the stairs while skipping one step after another. Simply because it's faster and she's too lazy to climb it up.

When she reached the top, she saw Thomas by the railings looking down on the ground below him with his arms crossed on the railings and leaned forward. Y/N sighed quietly and mimicked what he's doing without him noticing. A gust of wind blew through their faces as she closed her eyes.

Another reason of riding her horse in the woods is the wind. She loves how it hits her face and how her Y/H/L hair flies off of her face. It's a reason why she likes heights so much as well.

The girl sighed in content. Thomas jumped from her presence. He was so concentrated on zoning out that he only noticed her when she made a sound. "How long have you been in here?" He asked.

The Y/E/C eyed girl shrugged, "A few minutes I guess.."

Thomas nodded and let her stay as he continued staring at the view in front of him.

Comfortable silence with a mix of awkwardness enveloped them. Thomas was just enjoying the view while Y/N has been itching to speak. She didn't want to disturb the boy.
