He nervously asks you out

Calum

I stood at my locker, sorting through my books and digging out my physics one for next period.

"Hey, Y/N." Calum spoke in a quiet voice as he walked up to me.

"Hey, Cal." I smiled at my best friend before hugging him. He froze for a second before hugging back, which was weird.

"You alright?" I asked as I pulled away.

"Um, yeah, just...can I talk to you?" he asked.

"Sure." I smiled. He looked around.

"Not here..." he muttered. I sighed before grabbing his hand and leading him out of the doors, to a corner of the field where nobody ever went. I turned to him.

"What did you want to talk to me about?" I asked. He gulped harshly.

"There's this girl that I like...and I'm wondering how to ask her out?" he asked, making my eyes widen.

"How come I've never heard of this girl before?" I grinned, making him shrug.

"Never come up, I guess." He chuckled.

"Right. Well, if it was me. I would like it plain and simple. You know, just "will you go out with me?"." I spoke, making him nod.

"Okay, so simple and to the point." He spoke.

"Yeah. Now, go get her!" I squealed as I jokily punched his arm, making him chuckle.

"The thing is, she's right here." He spoke, looking at me.

"But we're the only ones...Calum." I muttered.

"Y/N, will you go out with me?" he asked. My eyes widened.

"Yes." I spoke. His nervous smile turned into a real one as he wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me.

"I'm so glad that you said yes! I've wanted to be your boyfriend for so long." He smiled.

"Well, now you are." I returned his smile as he kissed my cheek.

Luke

I was hanging out with Luke at his house, watching "How I met your mother". He looked at me, making sure that I wasn't paying attention to him before texting the guys.

Luke: Guys, I'm asking Y/N out today.

Ash: Awesome!

Cal: Go get her!

Mike: Dude, she'll definitely say yes!

Luke: But how do I ask her?

Ash: Just say "will you be my girlfriend?"

Luke: What if she laughs at me, or says no?

Mike: She laughs at you anyway.

Ash: Michael?!

Mike: What? It's true.

Cal: She's not going to say no. She feels the same about you.

Luke: Okay, thanks, guys, I'll text you when I've done it.

"You guys have a group chat without me?" I pouted as I looked over Luke's shoulder. He jumped immediately, trying to cover his phone.

"What's on that chat?" I smirked.

"Nothing." He gulped.

"Let me see that chat!" I laughed as I grabbed Luke's phone and quickly unlocked it.
