"Are you nervous?"
Kingston watched Danny avoid answering the question, just continuing to face forward.
"Milla is with Luca so there's a plus. Also, you have me by your side so no one should hurt you - another plus! You also look really sexy - even more of a plus." Kingston tried boosting Danny since they were going to have a conference with a hundred important peoples of the Pack.
He knew Danny probably didn't want to see their expressions. A lot of people hated the Im Pack, so to have Danny here wasn't a good start. Everyone had prejudice for him and it evidently made Kingston notice how bothered he was about it.
"Being sexy won't get people to stop hating me. Having you by my side only intensifies their hate. Causes them to wonder why you aren't killing me. They all want me dead."
"I won't let anyone hurt you." Kingston stated, not liking how worried he was over all of it. "I want you to believe me."
"It's not that I don't believe you...people are just so...random. You can't determine peoples actions all the time." Danny stated, chewing his lip as he pulled on the neck of his black turtleneck. "I shouldn't have worn this. I'm sweating with nerves."
Kingston grabbed Danny's hand, pressing his lips to it. Traveling upwards with little pecks until he got to his lips. Liking the noticeable blush on Danny's face.
"I'm not surprised about the nerves, that's expected. Except I want you to be positive that I will have your back. I won't let anyone get to you, they have to get through me first. Which, be honest, you think that'll happen?"
Danny wondered where his confidence came from because he definitely had none.
"You never know Kingston."
"Still. Trust me."
As Kingston grabbed Danny's arm harshly he yanked him towards his body. Landing on his chest and hugging him tightly.
"You got this. I believe in you, so much."
They both kissed and that caused all of Kingston's confidence to flow to Danny. Pulling away as he grinned happily.
"I'm ready now."
The both of them went outside and Kingston wasn't surprised to see all eyes set on Danny. Their hatred was quite evident as it was sensed and seen.
He had to keep watch for some people because he found himself thinking Danny was right. Their actions were unknown and random. For all he knows they could attack Danny together. He knew his pheromones were strong, but doing such a thing to a hundred people frightened him a bit.
