Yoongi barged into the room. "Dahee! Omonim!"

Dahee looked at him, "You can't shout in a hospital, don't you know that?" she asked. Yoongi strode to her. He checked her face, "Did they hurt you? Do you need to see a doctor?d" "No, oppa. I'm good." She answered. He sighed in relief.

He turned to his mother in-law. "Omonim, are you okay?" he asked. She nodded, "Just a bit scared." "Don't worry omonim. I'm going to make sure things like that won't happen ever again." He said to her and she nodded.

Few minute after that, a doctor came in.

Yoongi frowned when the doctor walked into the room.

"Excuse me, you are?" Yoongi asked him. Dahee looked at him in surprise, "Oppa!"

"I'm the doctor." The doctor answered. "Where's the doctor that assigned for my mother in-law? The one with the glass. Dr. Kim if I was not mistaken." Yoongi asked.

"Oh, Dr. Kim? He was assigned to another patient so from now on, I'll take his case." He answered calmly.

*but he looks...like...not convincing enough* Yoongi thought. "Continue your work." He added. He took a chance to look at his name but he only saw the name 'Kang'.

The doctor took out a syringe and injected her with a clear fluid. "Like usual, please eat this." He said to Dahee's mother and she nodded.

The doctor finally walked out from the room.

One evening, Dahee and Yoongi went to see the nurse for her mother's health condition.

"I'm afraid your mother can't be discharged yet." The nurse said to them.

"But she's okay right?" Yoongi asked her.

"Her heartbeat rate keep on increase and decrease. And her red blood cell are slowly decrease without it being replaced. We need to monitor her more."

"How can this be happening? Aren't you doing your job properly?!" Dahee raised her voice.

Yoongi grabbed her hand, "Hey. Let me take care of this okay. You wait for me there." He lightly pushed her to a seat."

"Sorry." He looked at the nurse. "But she's right. I thought everything was fine."

"I'm sorry. But we don't know how this happen. I check her medicine to make sure I get everything right for her. I promise you everything will be okay." he nurse said.

"Make sure it will." He answered before he went to Dahee and told her everything.

"How can they not know?!" Dahee asked.

"Hey. Calm down okay. I know you're not satisfied with them but this is a hospital, sweetheart. Keep your voice down okay?" he lightly stroke her head.

She looked at him, "Since when do you become so calm like this?" she asked. "Since you like to throw your anger to anyone you see?" Yoongi smiled.

Dahee groaned in anger before she went into the lift. Yoongi chuckled.

They walked into the room. Her mother was still sleeping.

She sat on the chair before she held onto her hand. Dahee looked at the medicine monitor that showed her heartbeat rate. Ever since her condition worsen, they decided to use the machine just in case.

Dahee was talking with Yoongi when suddenly the monitor let out a long beep. Dahee felt her stomach sank. She got up and checked on her mother by placing her finger underneath her mother's nose.

*no breathing!* "Oppa, omma-" she turned to Yoongi but he was nowhere in the room.

She turned back to her mother. "No omma!" she cried. Yoongi ran into the room, "I brought the doctor!"

The doctor and few nurses came in with a defibrillator. A nurse put a breathing mask on her mother.

Yoongi came in and pulled her away from the bed so they can work.

The doctor rubbed the defibrillator paddles. "I'm doing 80!" the doctor told the others. He then shot Dahee's mother with electric shock.

"Again!" the doctor called before he shot her again but still no reaction from her. "Make it 100." He told the nurse. She nodded. In seconds the doctor shot her with another electric shock.

Her mother finally chocked on air.

"Omma!" Dahee tried to run to her but Yoongi held onto her. "Let them do the works first okay?"

She watched nervously as her mother breathed heavily.

The doctor turned to Yoongi and Dahee, "I need you two to wait outside." He told them. Yoongi brought Dahee out and they waited until the doctor walked out from the room.

"Doctor, what happen?!" Dahee was fast to go and ased him. "She had a cardiac arrest. It's dangerous for her so we're keeping the oxygen mask on her for the time being. Now, she just need some rest. Do call us if you need help." He said.

Dahee and Yoongi nodded the doctor excused himself.

The two of them walked back into the room. Her mother was sleeping soundly. The monitor let out a uniform beep.

"I guess she's okay now." Yoongi lightly squeezed her shoulder. "I scared oppa. I thought I lost her." Her voice sounded shaky. "You are not going to lose her, Dahee." Yoongi said.

The same night, once again the monitor went crazy. Yoongi went out to get the doctor. Dahee held tightly onto her mother's hand. "Omma, please don't leave." She pleaded as tears ran down her cheek.

Just like during the afternoon, the doctor came in with a few nurses. The doctor again used the defibrillator.

"I use 90." He gave a shot but it didn't work. "Make it 100!" he called but it still didn't work.

Dahee's hands turned sweaty. *omma, please come back to me!*

"110!" he gave another shot but it still didn't work. "Make it 120!" he said before he finally shot it.

Then her mother was back to life.

Dahee sighed in relief heavily.

The doctor went to her. "I sorry but I have to tell you this. We got her back to life this time too but I'm sorry to say that if it happens again, we couldn't help anymore. Her body is too weak for any shock." The doctor told Dahee before he and the other nurses excused themselves.

Dahee weakly walked to her mother. She softly grabbed her hands and squeezed them softly. "Yoongi oppa..." she called him without even turning to him.

"Hmm?"

"You heard them right?"

Yoongi raised an eyebrow.

Dahee finally turned to face him. Tears already flowed down her cheeks.

"Dahee..."

"They said she's going to leave, oppa. Omma is dying." She cried. Yoongi walked to her before he gently pulled her into a hug. He cradled her side to side. He couldn't say that everything's going to be okay because obviously it doesn't. He saw with his own eyes. His mother in-law is getting weaker by minutes.
