"I know. His name is Cid. There are probably a lot here. It's okay though. You're safe. None of the vamps would dare fuck with you guys."

We walked down the smoky hallway, following the music until it opened up into a vast open area, filled wall to wall with bodies, smoke, and alcohol. The music beat through my body, begging me to dance. Excitement started coursing through me as we made our way towards the stairs.

"Where are we going?" I shouted over the music.

"You don't have to shout." he shouted back, grinning widely.

He tapped his ear, reminding me that he could hear me perfectly fine. I rolled my eyes and grinned.

"Where are we going?" I whispered as we walked up the stairs.

This was one of the weirdest experiences I had ever had. I had only been clubbing one other time and it was outside my small hometown, not in LA. This was completely different, and I seemed to be part of the crowd that everyone wanted to be in.

Everyone stared as we walked by them, their eyes following us up the stairs, while they whispered in their friends ears. I would have to remember to ask Colby what they were saying, since he could hear so damn well.

"To the VIP table." he replied, holding his arm out showing me where we would be sitting.

There was a half circle red velvet couch against the intricately designed iron banister. People down below would be able to see the tops of our heads but nothing else if they looked up. A bottle of strawberry champagne in a bucket of ice, sat in the middle of the black cherry wood table, that was placed in front of the beautiful couch.

"We're VIP?" I asked, my eyes wide, taking in my surroundings.

He grinned at my expression and nodded, putting his hand on the small of my back. He led me to the middle of the couch. I sat down, crossing my legs in this extra short dress, and he sat next to me, placing his large ring clad hand across my thigh.

The usual shivers went over my body, and my stomach quivered. I saw him look at me out of the corner of my eyes, but I kept my gaze averted. I knew that he knew that I wanted him, so I wasn't going to give him a chance to smirk at me.

Sam sat on his other side, Kat next to him, Devyn next to her, then Corey. Tara sat next to me, then Jake, Elton, and Mike. Aryia and Kevin sat in the small loveseat that was on the other side of the table.

I glanced behind me, out into the club and saw that a lot of people were still looking upwards at us, pointing and speaking behind their hands to one another. This was hella weird. Colby leaned forwards and poured some champagne into a few flutes, and passed them around to all of us girls.

A scantily clad waitress showed up then, balancing a tray holding 6 whiskey glasses 3 fingers deep with the dark liquid, poured over ice. She set the drinks on the table and Colby nodded at her. She smiled at him flirtatiously, and I stiffened, glaring at her.

He leaned over and pressed his lips to my ear quickly then whispered, "Chill love. Just the waitress. We come here a lot. I only want you."

His hand squeezed tightly on my thigh, and rubbed even higher. I almost moaned, but I clamped my mouth shut tightly, biting down on my bottom lip, letting the pain draw my attention away from the fact that I wanted to jump in Colby's lap right fucking now.

I saw the waitress glance at his hand on me and frown. Ha ha bitch, that's right. He's mine and I will kick your ass.

She caught my eye and I raised my eyebrows at her. She gave me a fake sweet smile, that I could see right through.

I began to wonder if he had slept with her too or if she just wanted him to.

"Can I get you anything else?"

I could feel Colby watching me as he answered her. "No, you can go." His voice was rude, the Colby that I first met shining through.

She 'hmphed' and walked away.

"Damn Colby, I think you pissed off the waitress. What'd you do that for?" Jake asked.

 Colby shrugged.

"Wouldn't be the first time, now would it?" he asked, leaning forwards and grabbing one of the whiskey glasses.

"Not at all." Sam replied, leaning forwards and grabbing himself one as well.

The rest of the guys followed suit until we all had drinks in our hands.

"Let's toast!" Tara exclaimed, holding her champagne flute high.

"To what?" Elton asked, rolling his eyes at her.

"To new friends and Vampire legends." Sam said, his eyes moving from me to Katrina.

She blushed and looked down, but held her flute up.

"Cheers." Colby said, eyeing me over the rim of his glass as he turned it up, the entirety of it's contents flowing down his throat.

We all followed suit, letting Colby take the lead as usual. The champagne was sweet and bubbly on my tongue. I was going to just sip it, but it tasted so good and refreshing, I just downed the whole thing.

"Easy love. Don't wanna get trashed before the night even starts, do you?" Colby whispered in my ear, his cool breath making goosebumps pop up along the skin of my neck.

I shivered a little, but leaned forwards and grabbed the champagne bottle filling my flute back up.

"I know how to handle my alcohol." I replied smartly, bringing the glass to my lips again.

I only took a swallow this time.

"Yeah Colby, let the girl drink if she wants to drink!" Tara exclaimed, laughing.

I grinned at her.

"We ready to dance?" Kat asked, looking around at the group.

The girls and I cheered, standing up, but the guys shook their heads laughing.

"You guys go ahead. We'll meet you down there in a few." Colby said, letting my hand go.

I pouted, sticking my bottom lip out at him.
