His eyes darkened, making me want to clench my legs again. He growled at me and licked his lips. I really didn't see how I was going to survive this relationship.
Kat grabbed my hand, and pulled me along with her, Devyn, and Tara down the stairs to the dance floor.
"I'm not drunk enough to dance yet." I replied, laughing and grabbing a drink from one of the trays that the waitresses walking by had.
She started to say something to me, but then saw Tara. She blushed and looked away, continuing on her way.
"Damn, I like being in the 'IN' crowd," I replied, turning the drink up.
It was strong, and the liquor burned my throat but it took the edge off. I finished it off quickly, and set the glass down on a random table that we passed as Kat continued pulling me along until we were in the middle of the floor. I glanced up to the VIP section and saw Colby and the guys looking over the edge.
He grinned and winked at me. I sent him a little wave, then started moving my body to the beat, trying to get lost in the music, only I couldn't. Instead, I was getting lost in his eyes, even from this far away.
His stare was intense, watching my every move, as I ran my hands down my body, stopping at my hips as I moved them to the beat.
"Let's give them a show!" Tara whispered in my ear, as she danced against me.
I laughed, knowing that they could hear her, but I didn't care. Devyn got behind me, with Kat pulling up the rear. We all danced up against each other, twisting our bodies, and letting our hands trail down each other's arms, and holding one another's hips.
Tara laughed and I looked up at the guys again. I swear I could hear the growls from here. Colby, Sam, Jake, and Corey were all leaning over the railing, their lips drawn back from their teeth, their eyes going black.
"Oh Jesus," I replied, grasping Tara's hand and spinning her back against me.
"Oh I'm gonna have fun tonight," She said, wagging her fingers up at Jake.
He bit his bottom lip staring at her, and grinned. Sam's mouth was slightly open, as he gripped the banister so tightly, the white of his knuckles was visible from here. Colby nudged him, and nodded towards his hands.
"Sam is bending the iron," Tara told Kat as she danced her way over to her.
Kat laughed as she shook her head, then blew him a kiss. He narrowed his eyes and shook his head at her, but blew one back.
Corey looked like was in a trance. I glanced over at Devyn to see her eyes locked on his, as she danced only for him.
When I looked back to Colby, he was resting his elbows on the banister, his thumb and index finger pulling at his bottom lip as he watched me. I winked at him, and smiled, biting my own lip. He gave me that sexy half smile of his, then said something to Sam.
He nodded.
"They're coming down here," Tara informed us.
Damn, it was convenient to have your very own vampire friend that could tell you every little thing that was going on around you.
"I need another drink," I said, pulling Kat with me to the bar.
She was red faced and giggling, as we made our way over there.
"Are you already drunk?" I asked, laughing.
"No, but I plan on getting that way!" She exclaimed, holding her finger up at the bartender. "I'll have a Pineapple upside down cake shot," she told the guy, looking over the chalkboard behind his head.
It had a list of different drinks on it ranging from a Pink Panty pull down, to a Coastal Living. I had no idea what most of them were so...
"Have you ever had that?" I asked her.
She shook her head. "Nope, but it sounds good," She giggled.
I rolled my eyes, then looked over the list again. I jumped a little when I felt large, strong hands grip my hips, but relaxed when I recognized the touch. Colby slid his hands up to my bare midriff, gripping hard and leaning into me, his mouth next to my ear.
"You should try the Pink Panty Pulldown." He chuckled deeply, the sound vibrating through my body.
"O-kay," I stammered out, and leaned back into him.
He ordered my drink for me, and I turned around in his arms.
"So you ladies thought you were going to tease us, huh?" he asked, grinding his hips against mine.
My entire body tingled, as his hands moved up and down my body, but I tried to hide it.
"Yeah, how'd you like the show?" I asked, wrapping my arms around his neck and burying my fingers into the hair at the nape of his neck.
This red hair was really starting to work for me. I pulled gently at the strands and smirked at him, when his pupils started blowing out.
"Get a room," Sam replied, drawing my attention to him.
I looked over to him and Kat, seeing her down her shot, then Sam grabbed her hand and spun her against his chest. She giggled, and flushed when he lowered his mouth to her neck, nuzzling against her skin.
"Look who's talking," Colby retorted.
Sam lifted his head and grinned, letting the tip ends of his fangs shine through just a little.
"Where's the fun in that?" he asked.
The atmosphere was incredible and everyone was having such a good time. It was really affecting me, putting me in the best mood. The bartender passed me my drink and I sipped it, nervous that I wouldn't like it.
Instead, I loved it. It tasted exactly like Pink Lemonade.
"How'd you know that I like Pink Lemonade?" I asked Colby.
He shrugged and smiled.
"Just seemed like the type, I guess."
He raised his fingers at the guy again, and was immediately brought 4 more whiskey glasses. He downed two back to back, while Sam did the same. I was feeling the affects of the alcohol that I had already had, my head getting a fuzzy feeling to it.
