Bombshell [ Bakugo x Reader ]

Chapter Three

'How did I end up here, again?' I sat awkwardly next to a red head. My desk was against his, and we shared his books. Since today was my first day, I hadn't received any of my materials just yet, so Aizawa asked the class who would like to share. A handful offered, and he ended up picking this kid with weird, spiky hair.

'Oh. Right...' My mind wandered to this morning.

One Hour Ago:

"Ahhh! You look so cuute!" Midnight beamed as I came down the stairs in my new uniform. "My skirt feels too short.." I mumbled as I tried to pull it down. "Oh. Did I order a size too small? Oops!" She laughed, winking at me. 

I rolled my eyes. "Are the stockings necessary, too?" I asked as I looked down. The black stockings I was wearing ended up almost touching my thighs. I felt very out of place in this outfit.

"Oh come on! I think it looks great." Midnight pouted as she handed me my backpack. "Your books will arrive in one week. I got you the basics, notebooks, pens, pencils, condoms." "Midnight!" I choked on air, looking at her with wide eyes. "I'm joking!" She laughed, only semi meaning it. "You never know who you'll meet on your first day." She said. "Now, let's get going." She said as we made our way to the car.

The car ride was pretty quiet. Mostly because Midnight liked to blare pop songs. I was too nervous about my first day to really care about her music choices.

On arrival, I recognized the large building as we passed through. "Do you want me to walk you to class?" Midnight offered. "No, I think I can find my way around." I said. She looked a bit disappointed as I got out of the car. "Alright! I can't wait to hear about your day!" She said as she got out as well and headed for the teacher's office.

I took a deep breath. "I can do this.." I whispered to myself as I walked through the front doors.

'There's more kids here than I thought.' I thought to myself as I walked around. I ended up passing by the cafeteria. The smell of morning breakfast filled the air, and it smelled delicious.

"1-A.." I said, continuing my walk. Eventually, I made it to the big doors. "This must be it. Sounds like most people are already inside." I said out loud.

"Indeed, and so should you." Came a deep voice that made me jump. The bell rang. "You're late on your first day. Let's go." He said as he walked passed me and into the classroom. 'What a hardass.' I thought as I followed him.

Instantly, the classroom got quiet as Aizawa entered. "Alright. We have a new student joining us today." He said as I walked to the front of the class. "What are you waiting for? Introduce yourself." He demanded. I gulped and slightly bowed my head. "My name is (Y/N) (L/N)."

Most of the students looked at me with welcoming smiles. Some, like the purple headed kid, drooled. Others didn't seem to act as if they cared.

"Now, (Y/N) doesn't have books and won't have any till next week. Who wants to share?" Aizawa asked the class. About half of them raised their hands. 

"Kirishima it is. He won't be a distraction. He might even need some help." Aizawa pointed out as Kirishima had a fake tear drop from his face. "So cruel, teach." He whined.

"Grab that empty desk in the back and set it next to him. He's the red head sitting next to Bakugo, the blonde kid." Aizawa said to me. "Come on, get going." He groaned, as if I was wasting his time.

Hurriedly, I scooted the empty desk next to Kirishima. I had accidentally bumped into Bakugo's desk, sending his pencil to the ground.

"Oh, sor--" "Watch it." He growled at me and picked it up. 'Jeez. So friendly.' I thought as I sat down next to Kirishima. He scooted his book over and gave me a warm smile. "Don't worry about him. He's harmless!" He said, trying to reassure me.

I glanced back over at Bakugo, only to be met with angry eyes and what I swore was the sound of growling coming from him. "Right. Harmless." I replied to Kirishima as the school day began.
