The first part of the day went on a little awkwardly. I mainly sat up straight and kept silent on the couch, afraid to make any moves for fear our friends would accuse me of doing anything more with Katsuki.

Katsuki on the other hand, wanted everyone to leave. He kept grumbling to himself, shooting a death glare at anyone who dared to even look his way.

Mina however, wasn't afraid to shoot me looks every now and then. Her grin seemed to never leave the entire night, and I could have sworn her eyebrows were going to fly off with how much she wiggled them at me.

Katsuki, Kirishima, and I sat on the couch. I was in the middle, while Katsuki was to my right and Kirishima was on my left. Both boys leaned against the couch arm rest, while I sat awkwardly in the middle. I kind of wanted to join our other friends on the floor. Mina laid on her stomach between Kaminari and Sero.

The first movie Kaminari chose. It was a romantic comedy, and we all found ourselves laughing through the entire thing. Well, except for Katsuki. Although I could have sworn I saw him smirk here and there at the funniest parts.

The next movie Sero chose. It looked old, and was about karate. Some parts were interesting to me, but mostly I was bored. Kaminari and Mina ended up falling asleep during the entire thing. Sero just shrugged them off, enjoying his movie.

Next up was Kirishima's movie. Like Sero, he chose an action movie. However it had more guns and explosions in it. I couldn't help but smile as I notice Katsuki getting into this movie. His bright red eyes glimmering and a smile crossing his face every time someone died or a big explosion happened. I chuckled lightly to myself, thinking it was typical of him to like these things.

After that movie we decided to take a break. The food I had cooking in the slow cooker had filled the house, and I could hear everyone's stomach grumble as they sniffed the air.

"C'mon. Let's eat." I told everyone as the credits scrolled through the TV. I stood up, being the first to head into the kitchen. Mina jumped up, following me. "Boys, stay!" She demanded, treating them like dogs. The boys looked at her, big puppy eyes as they whimpered about their hunger. Katsuki scoffed and rolled his eyes. "As if I'd listen to you in my own house." He said as he was about to get up.

"Well, you can come, but I need to ask (Y/N) a period question." Mina taunted as she skipped to the kitchen.

The biggest, most disgusted scowl crossed his face as his friends laughed at him. "Fuckin' nasty. DON'T BLEED IN MY KITCHEN!" He yelled as he flopped back on his couch, crossing his arms.

"The fuck?" I asked, looking up from the slow cooker and looking at Mina curiously. She laughed and shook her head. "Don't worry about it." She said as she leaned against the counter, next to me, and grinning at me. "Soooo?" She asked, her brow raising at me for the hundredth time.

"Sooo... What?" I asked her, getting out enough bowls for everyone.

"You and Bakugo! What's going on?" She asked me, poking me on the side. "You two seemed pretty close earlier."

I shook my head, closing my eyes and letting out a soft sigh. I opened them again, looking at the empty bowls on the counter. "Nothing. Nothing is going on, and nothing ever can go on." I told her.

She cocked her head to the side, looking at me confused. "What do you mean?" She asked me, helping me now prep the meals for the boys.

I shook my head and looked at her, giving her a warm smile. "Nothing. Don't worry about it, okay?" I told her assuringly.

'That was close.. How could I tell her the truth? Or any of them, really. Especially Katsuki. None of them really knew me that well, anyways. Sure, they were all great and fun to be around, but I can't get close. Not now, not ever. I won't always be here.. I don't know how much longer I have in this world. It could be tomorrow, or next year for all I know. It's best to not let any of them get close.'

"(Y/N)? (Y/N)!!" I snapped out of my thoughts, looking up at Mina surprisingly. "They're starving." She said, pointing at the boys behind us as they drooled at the doorway. Katsuki still sat in the living room.

I chuckled and started filling bowls up. "Sorry guys. Here you go!" I said, handing each of the eager boys a full bowl. The only one that wasn't there, was Katsuki. Mina grabbed her food, and looked at the two empty bowls in front of me.

"I'll bring Katsuki his food." I told her, smiling as I filled the two up and followed her out of the kitchen. I held out the bowl in front of his face, when he looked up at me with his brow raised. "I could have gotten it myself, you know." He grumbled, taking it out of my hands.

"I know. But I thought I would bring it to you anyways." I said softly, smiling at him and sitting next to him.

"Hey. If any of you fuckfaces drop anything on my floor or furniture I'll fucking kill you." He growled, taking a big bite.

"How can we waste such a precious meal?!" Kaminari said, his eyes glittering at me. I couldn't help but blush softly at his look and words. "Seriously, (Y/N). Where did you learn to cook like this?" Kirishima asked, devouring his food pretty fast.

"I uh.. I just picked it up and practice, I guess." I said sheepishly. This was a basic meal back home for me. Anyone could make this.

All of us finished our food, feeling now full and lazy. We decided to let the food digest a little before we dove back into the movie.

As everyone chatted, I stood up and started gathering the dirty dishes.

"You're such an angel. Date me?" Kaminari blurted out, looking at me with big, begging eyes.

"Pfft." I heard Katsuki's voice behind me. I blushed slightly, shaking my head.

"Sorry Kaminari--" "Denki." He said, giving me a thumbs up.

"Denki." I said, smiling apologetically. "I uh. I can't date right now." I said, not truly lying. I looked away and tried to avoid his saddened face. I had noticed Katsuki had a curious face on him, but quickly looked away.

I managed to make it to the kitchen alone, sighing in a breath of relief that I got away from that mess.

I started running the sink water, making sure it was steaming hot and soapy.

"So, why can't you date?" Katsuki's voice rang through my ears. I jumped in surprise, turning around and seeing him lean against the doorway. "Not that I'm interested. Just curious." He said as he approached me.

I looked away, steam rising from the hot water behind me. I couldn't help but look him up and down. Even in casual clothing, he was damn sexy. I didn't think there was anything this boy could pull off.

I shook my head, trying to get those thoughts out of my mind. I hardly knew this guy. All I could admire was his looks right now. Sure, he took care of me when I was sick. Even turned in my hero outfit. Walked me to and from school. I saw a side of him I wasn't sure any of his friends saw, and I adored it.

"I just.. I just can't." I said sheepishly, looking to the floor. "I'm not dating anyone or anything like that. I just.. I uh. I have something I need to focus on right now." I told him.

He approached me, placing his hand on my chin and forcing me to look up at him. I could feel his warm breath against my lips. His blazing crimson eyes staring into my (E/C).

"Look. I want... I.." He looked away from me then, letting go of me and pushing me aside gently as he started washing the dishes in an angry motion.

I chuckled lightly. "You want.. What?" I asked softly.

He looked at me, scowling and eyes squinted at me. "I wanna get to know you. Tell anyone and I'll fucking blow your face off." He snarled.

I sighed softly. Would there be any harm in him getting to know me? It would be nice to have a friend while I was here. I would have to do my best to keep my walls guarded, and not let him know too much or get too attached.

I decided there couldn't be too much harm, right?

"Fine. On one condition." I said, smiling slyly at him.

He stopped washing the dishes, glaring at me.

"Don't fall in love with me." I simply said, turning my heel and walking out the kitchen and back to our friends.
