It had gotten kind of late. I was in the kitchen, trying to find some food. Midnight didn't have too much to choose from, sadly. I guessed I would have to start doing the grocery shopping and cooking.

She had texted me earlier, saying she was staying out later than she thought she would and to not wait up for her. I had already studied what I could earlier, and decided to start attempting on a hero costume. But first, my stomach was screaming louder than Present Mic.

I sighed, settling on a frozen dinner and warm tea. Bringing it upstairs to my room, I sat at my desk. I had a few papers scattered all over, all containing design ideas, but nothing that really fit me.

"Ugh. Why is this so hard?!" I yelled at myself, running my fingers through my hair. Beep Beep. I heard my phone. I looked down at it, and laughed a little.

King Explosion Murder
Hey stupid. That shit ain't healthy for you.

I looked up. I hadn't realized my window curtains were open. Just my luck, because Bakugo's room was directly across from mine. I opened my window and so did he. "Yeah? It's all I have. I think I'll go to the store tomorrow." I told him, leaning on the window ledge.

He scoffed and shook his head. "Do you want some curry? We have leftovers. That shit you are eating is poison for your body." I was rather shocked at his offer. "Or not. I don't care what you do with yourself." He said, looking away.

I couldn't help but laugh. "Sure. I'll be right over." I said to him as I closed the window, and remembered to close my curtains as well.

I quickly changed out of my shorts and into a black pair of leggings, but I kept my baggy t-shirt on. I wasn't going to get fancy for him, at least.

I made my way over to his house, knocking gently. "GET THE FUCKING DOOR KATSUKI!" I heard a woman scream. I couldn't help but feel a little nervous. I hadn't thought about it before, but, what are the Bakugo's like? What kind of family could raise such an angry boy?! Was I about to get murdered?

Bakugo opened the door, looking annoyed. "SHUT UP!" He yelled back at his mother. "Come on. I already warmed it up for you." He said as I followed him inside.

It looked... Normal. His entire home looked like any other home. I don't know what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't this.

He lead me into the kitchen. I started to drool just from the smell alone. "Sit." He commanded. I obeyed, not wanting to ruin the chance of eating something so delicious. "Hope you can handle spicy food." He grinned as he plopped a plate down. I almost smashed my face into the plate. It looked amazing. "Psh. I love spicy food. The hotter, the better." I laughed as I took a bite. It was spicy, I'll give him that, but I could handle it.

Bakugo's jaw almost dropped as he watched me devour the plate. "Jeez. Nobody outside this house can handle my mother's curry." He blinked at me.

"Really? I think it's delicious." I said as I took the last bite. "Speaking of, was your mother the one yelling at you?" I picked up my tea that he had made me, taking a sip.

"Yeah. The old hag is usually loud like that." He scoffed.

"Excuse me?" I heard a voice, and Bakugo jumped in his seat. "Aren't you going to introduce me?" The woman asked, glaring at her son.

"This is (Y/N). (Y/N), this is my mother, Mitsuki." he rolled his eyes, he had hoped his mother would have stayed away while you were here.

"Well. I'm surprised any girls aside from Mina can stand being around you." She laughed, Bakugo shot her a glare. "The fuck you mean?!" He asked, but she smacked him behind the head. "How many fucking times do I need to yell at you about your fucking language?!!" I gulped the air. This family was intense.

"Oh, sorry, (Y/N). I hope my curry doesn't upset your stomach." She turned from evil to sweet in a matter of seconds.

"Oh, no. I loved it. I love spicy foods." I replied. This made Mitsuki almost beam for joy.

"You can come over anytime for dinner! I'm so glad someone around here appreciates my cooking." She said as she glared at her son.

Bakugo rolled his eyes. "Whatever. She lives next door and I saw her eating a frozen dinner so I invited her." He explained.

"So, you were peeping?" His mother asked. He bolted out of his chair. "Fuck no! She left her window open!" "That doesn't matter! You shouldn't be looking through anyone's window, you pervert!" Mitsuki smacked the back of his head, again.

"Really, thank you. I'm going to try to grocery shop tomorrow, though. I don't want to burden you guys." I held my hands up, trying to distract the two from arguing more.

"Oh sweetie, you aren't a burden! Maybe one of these days I can even show you Katsuki's baby pictures?" She offered.

My eyes widened as Bakugo's face turned red. "Yes!" I replied instantly, right before he grabbed my arm and started dragging me outside. "Over my dead body!" he yelled as his mother cackled evilly in the kitchen.

We stood outside for a moment. I looked up at the sky and took in the stars that twinkled brightly.

"You're such a girl." Bakugo scoffed, noticing I was looking at the stars.

"Thanks. I am a girl." I replied as I started to walk towards my house.

"Do you live with your parents over there?" He asked. He had no idea he lived next door to Midnight. Probably because she was hardly ever home.

Thinking that she would rather keep where she lived a secret, I shook my head. "I live with uh, a friend." I told him, scratching the back of my head nervously.

"Oh. I hadn't seen anyone move in, and I've never seen anyone live in there before." He said, raising a brow at me.

"Ha! Well. You'll be seeing more of me!" I said playfully, sticking my tongue at him before entering the house and closing the door.

Bakugo shrugged his shoulders before returning to his house.

Roughly an hour had passed. I was laying in bed about to drift off into dream land, when I heard my phone go off.

King Explosion Murder
Forgot to tell you. Changed your name in my phone.

(Y/N)
Oh? To what?

King Explosion Murder
Ha. You'll just have to find out. Night.

I smiled and closed my phone. "What a dork." I whispered to myself, before finally drifting off to sleep.
