Aria Skye Falcon

Everyone has been busy for the upcoming formal. Every corner is filled with all the chattering about their dates and their attires.

Sabagay, mga teenagers nga naman ang karamihang bumubuo sa school, and we shouldn't burden them with the current problems they're unaware of. At least they get to live normally.

"Aria."

"Are you ready for the formal?" I asked in the middle of our dinner.

"It never crossed my mind." Simpleng sagot niya.

"But you will be there?" Kahit na hindi niya paghandaan, I know she'll be outstanding.

"It's compulsory, so yeah." Kibit-balikat lang niya.

They emphasized how important it is for everyone to attend the formal because it is a way of enhancing our sociability towards the opposite house. Kahit na alam naman ng lahat na mailap mangyari 'yun, at least they're making an effort.

"It doesn't really matter whether we attend or not. After the event, everything will go back to normal." She said and continued eating initiating to close the subject.

In the middle of washing the dishes, a faint screeching was heard from outside our window.

Spirit animals.

Some of the students must've called them out for an evening stroll.

Just thinking about it makes we wonder when I'll ever meet mine.

My thoughts were interrupted by a ringing sound from my bracelet.

"Hey wh--"

[Kailangan ninyong pumunta sa palasyo, ngayon na!] Her tone made me worried and ate Aithne must've noticed because she was suddenly beside me.

"What happened?" She asked in a calm but cautious voice.

I attempted to reply but failed when ate Aithne chanted to teleport us to the palace.

"Aithne! Aria!" They were shocked to see us when we appeared out of nowhere in a spot where I think we shouldn't be standing in.

"What the hell?" I shouted when my sword disintegrated as it touched the creature's scales.

"Aria move!" Ate Aithne created a fire barrier before the creature could advance on to us.

"Baby! Aria!" Ate Aithne's barrier is holding but from the looks of it, it won't last long.

"What the fuck is that and why is it here?"

"A dark serpent. Kairus sent it to give us a warning." Dad said. Pero bakit ngayon siya kumikilos? I thought we had more time?
