"Do you think, Shinobu can take it?"

'Take what?'

"I don't know.."

'What can't I take?'

"Just what the hell happened?!", the violet haired girl slammed the door open. It revealed something horrible. She regretted what she just did, she wished she didn't opened it. If she knew, she could've prepared herself first.

"(Name)..." she fell down on her knees.
"What happpened?!", she yelled and the Sound Pillar looked down on her. "Our information isn't enough, but, last week when she came home she was full of bruises, what suprised as the most is the amount of blood flowing out of her eyes. Earlier, she woke up, after a week being asleep.", Uzui said.

"We're sorry Kocho... If we received the message earlier, we could've prevented this. " Rengoku apologized.

"What exactly happened?! I can't understand!", Shinobu yelled as she trembled. She knew. She knew what happened. She just couldn't accept it.. She couldn't accept the fact that she wasn't able to protect the person she loves.

Kyojuro and Uzui looked at each other and sighed.

"She can't see Kocho. She lost her sense of sight"

Uzui said and Shinobu clenched her haori. The two pillars reached for the door, to go out, but before going out.

"Kocho.. The doctors also added that her vocal chords were damaged for a bit. But don't worry, she still can speak, but She can't shout."

Kyojuro said and went out. Shinobu stood up, she went beside your bed and held your hands

"(Name).. I'm sorry..." she uttered as tears formed and fell from her eyes. She sat on the chair that was beside her bed and tightly held at her hand. Tears continued to flow from her eyes. She rested her forehead on her hand.

"I'm sorry..."

"S-Shinobu?"

a soft and gentle voice said, and the Insect Pillar stood up. "Shinobu... is that you?", you asked, Shinobu hugged you. "Yes its me.. Its me (Name)...", she replied.

"I'm sorry (Name).. I'm sorry for not being there.. I'm sorry--"
"Shush..S-Stop apologizing.. It isn't your fault..", you whispered as you patted her back. "Its just sad that I can't see your beatiful face anymore..", you said and smiled.

"Shinobu.." you mumbled. "Yes?", she asked as she wiped her tears.

"Do you still love me even if I'm blind?", you asked. Shinobu removed her embrace from you. She didn't noticed that you were already crying.

"Of course...I still love you.. That won't change idiot...", Shinobu gently flicked your forehead. "Really? Then.. Can we sleep together?", you asked.

"I just arrived from a mission Y/N, I still need to clean m--"
"Please? I missed you.."

Shinobu sighed.

"You still have injuries"
"And?"
"I might hurt you"
"My injuries are healed! That's why we could cuddle now!", she shouted and coughed afterwards. Shinobu hurriedly patted her back and supported her.

"(Name)! Don't shout!", Shinobu yelled and you giggled.

"I won't.. I won't, just cuddle with me?", you said and she giggled. "I will... Just wait for a minute, I'll get you some water", Shinobu said and you nodded, she then went out to get some water.

"Blood Demon Art: Lotus Ice" the silver haired demon laughed maniacally as he attacked you, you dodged it, but still took a lot of damage.

"How wonderful, you were able to escape that~!", he smiled as you clicked your tongue. Your breathing became heavier and heavier, you felt dizzy.

"(Name) the (B/N) pillar, I will make sure to save you~!"

"(Name)?"

"I'm so excited to taste you~!"

You held your sword tightly as you prepared to attack. "Breath of the
(B/N): Second--"

"(Name)!!" you snapped from your thoughts as you heard Shinobu calling you. You panickly looked around, to find her but still only saw the darkness.

"S-Shinobu? Are you there? Are you beside me? Where are you?"
"I'm here... I'm here..", the insect pillar held your hands.

She helped you drank your water. After drinking she placed the glass on the table and layed beside you.

She caressed your cheeks and stared at you with loving eyes. Even if you couldn't see her, you can imagine her looking at you with those beautiful eyes of hers, that was full of love. You can feel that she was smiling at you.

She kissed your forehead and hugged you, she placed you on her chest and held you tightly. "This time.. I'll protect you.. I won't let the demons, come near you..", she softly said as she played with your hair.

"Don't make it sound like, I can't fight anymore. Like Himejima-san, I could still fight!", you pouted and she laughed. She ruffled your hair and hugged you tighter.

"I know I know.. After all.. My darling (Name) is strong!", Shinobu exclaimed and you smiled.

"Thank you Shinobu.. Thank you for always being there..", you said and you touched her cheeks, feeling it , you gently touched her lips with your thumb.

"I love you", you said and kissed her.
