Game day

We had just been released from the routine meetings  we had. It was Wednesday and game day so everybody was fire up and excited about our first game.

"I'ma take a nap before my next class, I'll fuck with y'all later" X said dapping us up before headed towards his car

It was now pushing 2 o'clock and tone, B Mack and Marc had headed to there next class while me and Ralphy decided to grab a bite to eat.

As we walked to the market I spotted those familiar honey brown curls. She was sitting with kam.

After the whole roofie incident me and kam were cordial. I think it's because she knew I cared for Christina.

I nudged Ralphy nodding in their direction. Ralphy smirked before we headed over there.

"Hey my beautiful black queens" Ralphy stated going to give kam a hug and then Christina

"Hey my black king" kam responded

"Hey" Christina said

"What's up" I said as I went to give Christina a hug and then kam

"What are y'all doing" Christina asked

"We're about to get some food" I responded "what are you eating?" I asked as I stole a fry from her plate

"You see it" she responded smartly sending e a mug as she covered her food to stop me from reaching in again.

I gave her a closed mouth smile as I chewed and backed away before turning around heading into the market with Ralphy following behind me.

I went to grab two market sandwich's and a Gatorade. I didn't want to eat too much knowing I had a game today.

I paid at the cash register. I waited for Ralphy to grab his food before we headed back over to Christina and kam.

"Are you excited for your big game?" Christina asked nudging my shoulder

"Yea, are you going?" I asked taking a bite of my sanwhich

"She better and your coming too right?" Ralphy asked directing his question to kam

She shrugged looking over at Christina who responded with a shrug of her own

"Y'all better come or-"

"Or what" kam asked shifting her attention to Ralphy

"You wanna find out?" He said sending her a wink

"As if" she responded with an eye roll

"Alright, ladies it's game time! I want 100 percent out there on the floor tonight. It's not about what happens it's about what you do. If you make a mistake ok you've done it, now what are you going to do? Huh, are you going to give up? Hell no! You are going to hustle and make it up. Show me you wanna be out there!" He finished, clapping his hands. We joined in clapping our hands as we huddled up

X put his hand in the middle and we followed "U.S.C...U.S.C!" We chanted with our hand connected in the middle of the huddle before we broke apart getting hyped as we exited the locker room

I was nervous for this first game. Not because of the big ass crowd that I knew was waiting outside these walls or that my family was out there. I wasn't nervous because this was my first season game at USC. I was nervous because this was Ralphy and I's chance to make it pro. That if we did well for the next two years we would be going to the NBA.
