"Can I see you tonight?" He asked over FaceTime

"You know I'm busy tonight" I stated. I had been repeating myself all day and frankly I was tired of having the same argument. Especially with a guy that wasn't mine

He kissed his teeth. "Man, whatever" he stated before he hung up. Usually I'd be mad but I didn't want to talk to him so I'm glad he hung up.

Nick had become annoying. He was clingy and aggressive, I wasn't with all that. He was always bringing up dru. Uh I mean Andy. Calling him dru knowing that's what everybody else called him that didn't feel right. He was always going to be Andy to me. Anyways, nick was insecure and always inviting himself to places with me. I don't know why when Andy called him my boyfriend I didn't correct him. Maybe some part of me was hoping he'd be jealous.

I mean the man kissed me on multiple occasions... and what he just wanted to be friends. I grew frustrated just thinking about it. But we were good as friends and I didn't want to mess that up but a part of me wants us to try just to see where it could go.

Tonight we were having a girls night. This was a tradition we started for whenever the guys had an away game. We would have a girls night that included drinking, gossiping, and watching the game together.

I hopped in the showering lathering up my body. I didn't feel like washing my hair since I already did that yesterday.

I got out the shower putting lotion on. Then I grabbed the first thing in one of my drawers putting on the spandex I pulled out. I then put on a cropped tank top before heading to the kitchen to get the snacks ready.

*Knock knock*

"I'll get it" kam sung as she walked to the door. She opened it revealing Brit and Jasmine.

"We brought alcohol bitches" Brit shouted as they walked in

I grabbed the platters I had set up before placing them on the on the bar.

"This looks good." Jasmine said as she grabbed a grape. "What time do they play tonight?"

"8" I responded

"Perfect we have time to take some shots before kick off"

"Girl, it's tip off not kick off" I laughed

She waved me off grabbing shot glasses.

*knock knock*

Kam opened the door revealing Lola. "Hey girl" kam said stepping to the side allowing her in.

"I brought some games"

"Ouu did you bring that jenga game?" Kam questioned

Kam loved stirring some tea. The jenga game was a mix of jenga, of course and truth or dare. See every piece had a question or a dare on it so whatever the piece that  you pulled said is what you had to do or answer. It could get very messy.

"We got shots" jasmine yelled

We all grabbed our shots. "Cheers to another motherfucking W" kam said raising her glass. We raised our glasses to that taking the shot. I made a gaging face as I tasted the alcohol on my tongue.

As the game went on so did the drinking. I had a nice buzz going on. We deciders to play the jenga game as we sat around it in the floor. I pulled out a piece and the whole thing fell down meaning I had to take another shot. I took another shot like a pro while everyone helped set the game back up.

I watch the tv seeing we were on defense. I watch intensely, even though we were winning it was still a good game. Ralphy stole the ball, I nudged kam showing her the screen. "Ouuu that my baby" she said standing up. I saw Andy running down along side him before Ralphy threw it up towards the basket. The ball didn't look like it was gonna go in. Andy jumped up and slammed it in. I jumped up screaming. kam and I hugged each other jumping up and down, celebrating the play.
