Pia's POV

"Finally I got you alone with me!" I heard his voice right behind me making me jump startled and turn around swiftly, due to which my leg twisted in the dress and I lost my balance. I closed my eyes, waiting for the hit but it never came. I opened my eyes and saw that Swayam's face was so close above my face and his hands holding me tightly. He straightened us both but still didn't loose his tight grip.

I looked up at him and into his eyes, which were boring into mine continuously. I felt as if I could drown in his eyes in a few minutes if I kept looking in them. They were the best pair of eyes I have ever seen anywhere. So deep, so beautiful, so raw.

I saw his gaze slowing moving towards my nose and it finally stopped at my lips. He looked into my eyes once again and then back at them. I know what is coming! Oh my god! As if on cue, he started leaning towards me more and more. I stood in my place, not understanding how to react. His lips were just few centimetres apart and I could already feel the havoc he raised inside me. I was feeling weak on my knees, by only looking at his soft lips.

Just when he was about to kiss me, I brought my palm between our lips, resulting into him kissing my hand instead. As if he was brought out of a daze, he quickly left his grip on me and stepped back. Shit!

"I... I am sorry" he said immediately and I could see that he cursed something under his breath.

"It's okay" I replied after sometime.

"Believe me Pia, I had no intention of making you uncomfortable. It just... It just happened" he explained further even when I didn't ask him for one. How more of a gentleman this man can be? Is he for real? I looked at him and smiled slightly.

"I know that Swayam. You didn't make me uncomfortable at all. I said it's completely fine. I understand it happens sometimes" I too explained and he seemed relaxed. Why was he so worked up with just this?

"Then what was the reason for you to stop me?" He asked frowning and I gulped.

"Look Swayam, I will be honest. I didn't want you to regret our second kiss, as you did for our first one. I stopped you because you don't love me yet and you might regret this, just like before" I said it in one go and looked up into his eyes, to notice hurt? Why would he be hurt? I looked away, not able to hold the intensity of his eyes. He took some more stepped back but said nothing.

I lifted my leg to walk out, but immediately as I did, I felt a pain shoot in my right leg.

"Ouch!" I yelped and immediately sat on the bed behind me. Swayam rushed towards me and kneeled in front of me.

"What happened?" He asked panicked. It suddenly stroke me that he might not know about the accident, because if he did, he wouldn't have asked this. Moreover, the way aunty was angry on him, I don't expect her to say anything. I quickly masked my expressions.

"Nothing... My leg just got twisted slightly. Everything is fine" I said smiling to him and went to get up but he kept his hands on my knees.

"Don't get up, it will hurt you. You say it Pia, what happened?" He asked narrowing his eyes at me and I sighed. I can't lie to him. I said him about the minor accident that happened today in detail.
