I miss you

Jake's POV

It has been a wild ride with Albert. Long. Distant. But close. Best... friend.

I've only met Albert three times in person. The first time was before he broke up with Lana, and the second time was with other ROBLOX, YouTubers, and the third time was when he met Kaden in California for the first time. Kaden is a very nice guy. Nicer than Albert, that's for sure. I've never really had alone time with Albert in person. It bothers me sometimes but I don't really mind. At least it's not awkward. Kirsten was going to he there and I have never really met her. I hope she is nice. I hope I get at least some time with just Albert, unlike the other years, we were surrounded by people.

I booked a flight and now I'm going to tell Albert about it. I'm going to stay at a hotel or something. I have not looked for one yet. I miss being around him even though I haven't been around him for that long in person.

I started a call on Discord and he picked up immediately. There was a faint "Hello?" coming from the call. "Heyy, buddy! Uhhh..." I said nervously feeling my face heat up. "Hey, uh, what's up? You, ok, Jake? You seem a but off, dude." Albert said sounding a bit concerned. "Oh, yeah! I'm doing amazing, dog!" I tried to sound excited but didn't really do a good job at it. "Oh... cool? Wait, clearly something is up. What the hell is going on? Still thinking about, Ally?" Albert said as I tapped a pen on my desk. "Stop asking questions!" I yelled as my face heated up more.

"Let me see your face." He said as he turned his camera on. My face was burning up and decided to turn my camera on too. I pulled my hoodie over my head and pulled on my strings so that he wouldn't be able to see my face. "C'mon, Jake! I just want to make sure you're, ok! Look! Look at me! Look at my adorable face! Bet you wanna see it! Look, hot gamer boy, over here! Why are you being shy!? C'MON, JAKE!" He was telling at me in a high pitched voice. "JAKE, YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE-" I cut him off and yelled at him. "OK, CHILL THE FUCK OUT!" I heard a loud thud. "OW, YOU FUCKING SCARED ME AND I HIT ME KNEE ON MY DESK YOU, FUCKING IDIOT!" I ignored him and pulled my hood off my head. He stared at my flushed face and I stared back at him. "I miss you..." he said as he blushed.

"I miss you too..." I said to him with a big smile on my face. "Your face is red! He pointed to his camera. I threw the pen that was in my hand at my camera and he jumped. "Shut up! Your face is red too!" I yelled at him and chuckled. "OK!? WHY DID YOU CALL ME IN THE FIRST PLACE, HUH? I'd like to know that, mister tomato.

"Oh, right! You better be happy I spent my money 'wisely' because, I think it wasn't such a bright idea." I told him while staring up at my ceiling and spinning my chair side to side while nibbling on my pen cap. "Ok? What is it?" He said sounding a bit irritated. "I'm-uh, I'm coming to Florida-"

"OH, MY GOD! REALLY!?" he shrieked at me. "Yeah... You excited?" I told him as I put my hood over my head while I felt my face heat up. "Hell, yeah! When are you coming!?" I looked at him and said "2 days, Albitch." He placed is hand on his forehead. "Where and how long are you staying?"

"4 weeks, and I'm going to just stay at a hotel that I find nearby." "You can stay with me. I don't want you to spend too much money on a hotel, you already paid for a plane ticket! Why would you need to spend more on a hotel when you could stay with us?" "I-really? You sure?" "Yeah!" "Ok! Sure!"

"I'm so excited! Oh my god!" He shrieked and smiled at him. Albert looked really happy. If he is happy then, I'm happy too...
