Today was the day Wen Yue would finally meet Fei Yang's mother. She wasn't able to meet her earlier having been told that she was gravely ill and needed time to rest.

Reaching the gate entrance of the Camellia Palace, she entered along with Lin who guided her to the chambers she resides in.

All she did as they walked, was fidget her fingers nervously knowing she would be seeing her.

"What if she thinks I'm not good enough for her son?"

She always thought negatively when really she shouldn't.

Inside those doors, sat a mid-aged woman in her cushioned chair. As she organized the many poems she wrote, a voice came.

"Your Grace, Her Highness Princess Wen Yue has come to visit." a servant announced.

The woman placed her poems down and smiled, happy to hear of her arrival, "Let her in." she ordered.

The doors opened and closed revealing the young woman along with her personal servant, who soon left having only come to guide her as told by the princess.

Wen Yue bowed at her presence, "Greetings, Your Grace."

Imperial Concubine Ting Mei simply chuckled, "Yue please just call me mother." she didn't want any formalities between them now that they are family.

Wen Yue smiled at her remarks and gave a light nod.

The concubine was a rather dashing lady. She wasn't the prettiest or most beautiful, but there was something about her that caught your attention.

The two then went and sat at the table across from one another. Wen Yue's mother-in-law couldn't help but to admire the young woman having finally got to see her.

"I heard so many things about you." the concubine spoke with glee.

The princess raised a brow, "Really?"

Fei Yang's mother nodded, "Well, Yang told me himself about you. Others I've heard passed amongst the locals."

What caught the princess' attention was Fei Yang talking to his mother about her. She never really saw him to be one to talk to others about someone.

The woman seeing her expression couldn't help but to keep that grin, "Once word came of you and Yang to be betrothed, the people began making stories. They wrote about how you were the moon and Yang the sun." telling the brief summary.

"That's great of the people to do so. I was quite curious what the stories were about." having now relieved her wondering thoughts of this topic.

The older woman rested her hands on the table and spoke, "Would you like to know what Yang told me about you?" she couldn't quite contain her son's words about her.

Wen Yue's eyes were filled with curiosity and the concubine took notice of this.

"A few days after you two arrived, he came to me and wouldn't stop talking about you. As I laid in bed, he just kept smiling as he spoke. He spoke of how you were so kind, brave, amazing, and true to everything."

Hearing those words made the princess' heart flutter and face pink.

"To him, the most memorable moments were when he first met you and when you cleaned his wound." those truly were their most significant times of meet.

Just listening, the memories seemed to rush through her like a summer breeze. When she first met him, he was saved her from drowning and the second when he stumbled upon her palace injured.
