Spread The Word/Names

Jade and I were nervous to tell our families. We both know, they were anxious when are we gonna have our own tribe. As what my dad calls it. Ha!

We called my side of the family first. Well more like Skype them. We sent a request and they approved. My mom and dad were right there, smiling at us.

"Hey mom.. dad" I said

"Hi son.. what's happening" my dad said

"Uh... we gotta tell you something" I said nervously

Jade looked a bit nervous herself.

"We are expecting" I said

Then all of a sudden I hear screaming. I looked at my mom and she was happy in tears. I think those are tears of joy.

"Oh.. I'm gonna have another grand baby... when are you due Jade and how many months.. and what are you guys having" my mom cried

"I am due October 13th... I am five months and we don't know yet.. baby wouldn't stay put." Jade said

"I'm so happy for you guys" my dad said

We talked to my parents for awhile. They wanted to see how big Jade was. She had to stand up and show off her cute tummy. Then we said our see ya laters.

"Well that went well" she said

"Yep... now your parents"

"Ok"

We sent them a request and her mom answered it. She was happy to see us and so was Austin. We talked our way in.

"What's happening" Austin asked

"Well dad.. I'm expecting" Jade said

Their jaws dropped. Uh oh, I know that look. That look as in what did you just say. Then Austin darted his eyes at me. And finally smiled. Whew!

"I'm gonna be a grandma!" Jennifer shouted

"And I'm gonna be a pappa" Austin choked up

"Ah... dad don't cry.." Jade said and a tear fell

"It's just, your my little girl and now your married and having a little one.. you grew to fast Jade"

"I know dad... but I am five months.. and we had a appointment today.. we couldn't figure out what we're having.. the baby kept moving around"

"It's a girl" Austin said

"Everyone keeps saying that... my tummy is low.. I'm starting to have LJ'S appetite.. I'm constantly eating.. I think it's a boy"

"Well I wasn't like that with your brothers.. I was like that when I was pregnant with you" Jennifer said

"Ha! Told you it was gonna be a girl" I cheered

"You hush.. go start dinner"

"Ok.. hahaha.. talk to you guys later"

I left them alone and started cooking. I couldn't help but smile. I hope we're having a girl. We also need to start picking out names. I want something different.

"What's cookin" Jade asked

"Steaks!"

"Sounds good"

"What did mom and dad say"

"Just happy for us... and Shay will be graduating from 8th grade to freshman year"

"Already"

"Yep.."

"Well we need to pick names" I said

"You first"

"Bud for boy and Pam for girl"

"Uh... no"

"Why not.. I'm not naming our kid after an urban cowboy... I was thinking Ty Rope Jenkins for girl and Winn First Jenkins for a boy"

"Thats... sounds... great"

"I've been giving it a thought"

"Where did you come up with Ty and Rope"

"Just played with it for awhile"

"And the boy"

"Well I figured it sounds cool... I mean it does kinda have a ring to it"

"True"

We ate dinner and had a movie night.

If you haven't read my other stories.. that I updated.. I'm gonna but the NFR chapters for this book, My Heeler, and Tuf Love.. but this book has one more chapter before i start adding the NFR in it...
