"Umm.. what" I said

"Were back" Luke said

I got up and wiped my eyes. I hid my meds in my bag. I open the door and I had missed calls. The hell called me. I unlocked my phone and it was LJ. THIRTY THREE missed calls and my voicemail box was full. I had TWENTY FIVE text messages. Holy smokes!

"Jade.. you alright" Luke asked

"Yeah.. I need to call mom back.. ill be in" I said

"Ok" he said and walked in with Kylie

I walked towards my trailer and my ribs were still sore. I open my saddle compartment and grabbed out my rope. My phone vibrated and rang. I looked and LJ was calling again.

"Whew... you can do this Jade... just breathe" I thought to myself.

"Hello" I said

"Babe where are you... I've been trying to call and text you"

"I'm great LJ... Kylie and I are fine... I don't why your worried"

"You don't sound like it... Jade what's wrong"

"Nothing... I'm tired that's all"

"I'm not buying it"

"Larry please... I'm tired.. I didn't get a good night sleep"

When he asked why, I closed my eyes. Was he really that out of it or he is simply playing dumb.

"I had something to take care of"

"What was it? Was it Kylie? Jade your not making any sense"

"Larry... how much do you remember of last night"

"Not much... why what happened"
