Lisa's POV
"That's when my family found me." I said as I ended the story.
Nakiramdam ako sa reaction ni Jennie beside me. Tahimik lang siyang nakikinig sa akin simula kanina. Hindi siya nagtanong, hinayaan niya lang ako magkwento.
"Nini?" Tawag ko sa kanya. Tinignan ko siya, baka kasi nakatulog na pero gising naman siya. Because I can see her eyelashes went up and down. Napangiti nalang ako at tumingala ulit.
"You do really love her that much, Lisa." She finally spoke up, but there's something in her voice. Unti unting lumuluwag ang hawak niya sa kamay ko.
I bitterly smiled. "My love for her was too much, Nini. Sobra sobra, na naging dahilan para masaktan ako ng sobra sobra." Sabi ko sa kanya then I sat straight and cupped her face using both of my palms.
I made her looked at me straight in the eyes.
"Jennie, I may love her too much before but I swear to myself that I will love you for the rest of my life, hindi man kagaya ng pagmamahal ko sa kanya pero I will make sure na hinding hindi kita sasaktan in any possible way." I leaned forward to kiss her lips. I smiled in between our intertwined lips when I felt her respond. "I love you, Jennie." I said truthfully after the kiss.
"I love you more than you could ever imagine, Lisa." She said as she hugged me tighter. "I will prove it to you everyday, in every way I can just for you to feel how much I love you. Hindi ko maipapangako na hindi kita masasaktan dahil hindi naman natin maiiwasan yon, diba?" I nodded and chuckled softly in her shoulder. "Pero gagawin ko ang lahat para mapatunayan sayo na karapatdapat ako sa pagmamahal mo. Na hindi ka magsisising minahal mo ako."
I hugged her tighter nung naramdaman ko na umiiyak na siya. "Shh, baby. Don't cry. We will work together for our relationship to last forever, okay? Just believe in us, Nini. We should trust each other." I said while rubbing her back. She nodded her head and kissed my cheek before she leaned on my shoulder again.
"What are you feeling right now?" She asked after a few minutes of silence.
"After I told you everything? I feel fine. Don't worry." I replied.
Totoo naman. Gumaan ang pakiramdam ko after ko masabi sa kanya ang lahat tungkol sa nangyare sakin. Ang kailangan ko nalang sabihin ay yung tungkol sa trabaho na sinabi Daddy.
Nagdadalawang isip ako kung sasabihin ko ba ngayon o masyadong mabigat yung kinuwento ko? Maybe, I should tell it to her tomorrow.
"I'm sorry if you had to experience that, Lili."
I smiled. "You don't have to apologized, sweetheart. Maybe it was destined to happen para magkahiwalay kami ni Mina at para makita ko yung babaeng para sakin talaga. At iyon ay walang iba kundi ikaw." She hugged me even more tighter.
"I will do everything to deserve your love, Lisa. Hindi ko hahayaan na mawala ka sakin. I will lose myself if that happens."
"At iyon ang hindi natin hahayaan mangyare. We will be each other's protector, baby. We will stay together as long as we want to, although I'm not saying na dadating ang panahon na susuko tayo sa isa't isa. That would never happen." I seriously replied to her.
Letting her go is the least among the leastest thing I would want to do. Si Jennie na ang mundo ko ngayon. I will do anything to keep us together.

"WHAT?!" Jennie exclaimed and looked at me with her cute widened cat-liked eyes.
"Hm-mm." I hummed in response as I flipped the page of the magazine I am reading.
