Chapter XXXIV

Rosé's POV

"Babe, are you already home?" I asked Jisoo as soon as she answered my call.

Kakaalis niya lang kasi dito sa bahay dahil tinapos pa namin yung final thesis namin since graduating na kami in less than two weeks. I decided to call her after I took a quick shower and changed into my night gown.

"Yes, baby. I just parked my car nung tumawag ka." She answered sweetly.

"Alright. That's good to hear." I smilingly replied to my girlfriend.

I'm walking pass the window of my room while talking to Jisoo when I saw a figure malapit sa gate ng bahay namin.

Napakunot ang noo ko at tinitigan ang pigura ng tao. It looks like she's a girl. Her posture and body are quite familiar to me.

"Babe? Are you still there?" I flinched a bit when I heard Jisoo's voice again. Pero hindi ko pa rin inaalis yung titig ko sa babaeng nasa labas ng bahay namin. "Y-yes, baby. I'm still here." I replied back. But my voice is a bit shaky dahil kinakabahan din ako.

What if look-out yung babae na yon? What if something bad would happen? Oh my! Wag naman sanang maulit yung nangyare kay Lis— "...by! Rosé! What's happening?!" Nawala sandali ang tingin ko din sa babae dahil sa biglang sigaw ni Jisoo.

"N-Nothing, Love. I'm fine. M-may tao kasi sa labas ng gate." Pag amin ko.

Binalik ko ulit yung tingin ko sa babaeng nakatayo sa bahay namin. She turned around to look over our house kaya mas natitigan ko pa siya. Pinaliit ko ang mata ko— dahil medyo malabo ang mata ko— para makita siya at makilala ng maigi.

"What!? Fuck! Don't go down, Chaeng. Papunta na ko dya—"

I cut her off nung nakilala ko kung sino yung babae. "Wait! Is— is that... Jennie?" I asked to no one. "What?? Are you sure, baby? Baka namalikmata ka lang?" Tanong ni Jisoo.

"No, babe! Si Jennie nga yon! Gosh, bakit siya nasa labas ng bahay sa dis-oras ng gabi?" Sabi ko while fixing myself to go down to Jennie. "I'll go down to talk to Jennie, baby." Paalam ko sa kanya.

"Just be careful, baby. Call me if something happens."

"Okay, okay. I love you."

"I love you, too. Bye." She said then I hanged up.

Mabilis akong bumaba ng hagdan. Not minding to put my robe on dahil iniisip ko si Jennie. What is she thinking? Sobrang dilim na sa labas. Hindi siya dapat lumalabas pa ng bahay.

"Ma'am Rosé? Saan po kayo pupunta? Bakit po nasa labas pa po kayo?" Tanong ni Kuya Bert. Guard namin.

Hindi siguro nagdoorbell si Jennie kaya hindi alam ni Kuya Bert na nasa labas siya.

"Kuya Bert, please open the gate. Now." I commanded. Nagtaka siya pero agad din naman niya binuksan yung gate.

Pag bukas na pag bukas nito ay agad akong naglakad palabas. My eyes immediately glued at Jennie who is now sitting on the ground.

"Jen? What are you doing there? In the middle of the night?" I asked her.

I noticed her wiped her tears quickly before she turned her body around to face me.

Is she crying?

"H-hey." She greeted me.

I walked towards her. She is wearing a jeans and a shirt. "It's already midnight. What are you doing here? It's dangerous to be out at this hour, Jennie." I asked her as I examined her face.
