Chapter LII

Lisa's POV

"Hoy, Manoban! Di kami tumawag para makipagtitigan sayong kupal ka!" Rinig kong sigaw ni Dahyun mula sa kabilang linya kaya agad akong napatingin sa laptop screen sa harap ko.

"Bakit ba ang init ng ulo mong damuho ka? Di ka nakascore kay Sana no?" Pang-iinis ni Jisoo sabay tawa kasabay ni Seulgi.

We're currently having a video call with Dahyun and Seulgi since maaga kaming nakauwi ni Jisoo, minabuti muna naming tawagan yung mga kupal naming kaibigan while waiting for our girls to arrive.

It's been a long time since the last time we called each other via video call, kadalasan kasi sa group chat lang kami nag-uusap.

The marriage of Irene with that guy didn't happen dahil isang buwan bago matuloy ang kasal, namatay ang lolo ni Irene kaya minabuti ng lola at magulang ni Irene na hindi na ituloy ang kasal dahil labag naman sa kalooban ni Irene.

We felt so delighted to hear that news, we even called Seulgi right away after Irene told us that the wedding was cancelled. Pero shempre, we felt sad about the death of Irene's grandfather lalo na sina Jennie and Sana. They both loved Irene's grandfather as their own.

And now, Seulgi and Irene were back together again. More stronger than before.

"HAHAHAHA! Nahuli kasi ni Sana na may kausap na babae sa phone kahapon kaya hindi nakascore!" Dugtong na pang-aasar ni Seulgi while laughing her ass off along with Jisoo.

Dahyun released an annoyed sigh as she crossed her arms and leaned her back on her chair.

Hinayaan ko muna silang mag-asaran as my mind travelled on its own. I've been noticing something that's bothering my girlfriend pero hindi ko naman maisip kung dahil ba sakin yon o hindi.

"LISA!" Nabalik ako sa ulirat when they shouted my name in unison.

I cleared my throat as I sat properly. "Bakit?" I asked with a furrowed brows.

Nakita kong nakatingin na silang tatlo sakin with a concern look on their faces.

"Tahimik mo? Akala ko ba okay na kayo ni Jennie?" Jisoo asked beside me.

I sighed and looked at them one by one. "We're good. It's just that, Jennie's been quiet lately." I explained while remembering Jennie's behavior for the past week.

She's been so noticeably quiet for me and she's been acting really weird.

Although, wala namang pinagbago sa pakikitungo niya sakin and sa magjowang kasama namin sa bahay pero every time na tahimik siya, it's like she's been thinking so deep na kahit ako hindi ko kayang mahukay. I tried to ask her pero she'll end up saying nothing. hindi na ko nagpumilit dahil ayoko namang pag-awayan pa namin yon.

"What do you mean she's been acting weird lately?" Seulgi asked curiously.

I took a glance at her and sighed as I shrugged my shoulder. "I don't know exactly but it's like she's been thinking a lot lately and she obviously doesn't want me to worry about it." I said that made the two nodded their heads understandingly.

"Baka naman dahil malapit na graduation nila? You know, lots of requirements to pass by next week and baka stressed siya." Jisoo said and patted my shoulder. I looked at her and gave her a weak smile.

She might be right, Jennie has been busy doing all of her requirements to be passed on next week and I know how tired she is dahil may work pa siya every night. I'm actually worried about her getting sick because of it. She's been stressing herself out.
