Riding down, riding down
My hand on your seat, the whole way round

It was a really sunny day,and its the first day of summer. The day I've been waiting for. As I got up feet hitting on the cold floor. Unaware of what the world had on me today. I ate breakfast, took a bath, changed into one of my favorite shirts.

I said goodbye to my mother. And got on my bike.

I carry band-aids on me now
For when your soft hands hit the jagged ground

I knocked into the door only to be greeted by my friend. I ask her if she wanted to play today. She agreed and smiled at me. The most sweetest smile I've ever seen.

Wheels aren't even touching the ground
Scared to take them off but they're so worn down

I asked her if she wanted to ride on my bike. She looked scared and said she didn't know how to ride one.

Promise I won't push you straight to the dirt
If you promise me you'll take them off first

Being a good friend I teached her.

Everyday we did the same routine. I taught her how to ride a bike.

She would sometimes crash on a tree. Get hurt but I'm always here to help her. I'm always the one who took care of her wounds.

Everyday she's starting to make progress.

Until one day she can already ride a bike. We would go to different places.

It's not like I'm asking to be your wife(husband)

Sometimes we would get home late. Our parents would scold us but we don't care as long as we have each other.

Is this coming off in a cheesy way?

As we're together I could feel myself falling and falling deeper into her. But I don't want to confess atleast not yet.

We were about to go home. I drop her off to her house. We said goodbye, but the way she said it feels like there's something wrong.

The next day, I was about to go to her house when a moving truck passed by.

I brushed it off maybe there's someone moving out. I knocked on her door. No answer, I kept knocking still no answer. I went to the other house asked if there's someone home.

And turns out they left. I was heartbroken.
