Ally paused for a moment, realizing she was just about to pour her heart out to a girl that tripped over her bag at the local pool. Ally knew better then to trust someone she just met, but this was her time to change and be different. Dinah gave her a comforting look and waited with open ears to hear what Ally was going to say, but Ally stayed silent. She had to think back to when the whole thing started. Ally laughed nervously. "Sorry about that. I was in a trance there." Her eyes wandered furiously as she tried to get the redness in her cheeks to disappear. "Anyway! It all started at the end of May. That's when my parents told me I was moving out of San Antonio. I was devistated; but I realized that everything happens for a reason, and maybe this was my time to really express myself and find who I am. So I was nervous and excited all at the same time. I said goodbye to my old life and moved here. And until the middle of June, summer was pretty boring to be honest with you. It all changed one night when I was walking home a little after 8 o'clock. I was actually really lost and I happened to run into a guy who was walking his dog. So I just asked for directions. We just started talking right then and there and I found out he was starting his junior year too and that we would be going to the same school. I found out his number and he told me his name was Kolin an-" "Wait." Dinah interupted, "Kolin Lewis? Oh my gosh, hun. He is bad news. I mean BAD news." Ally laughed a little too obnoxiously. "Thanks for the warning, but you're a little too late!" Both girls laughed. "Anyway! We started talking and it was just amazing. He made me feel like I was the most important girl in the world. That the things he said, he really meant. He always said I was beautiful and charming. I just fell for him because no guy ever made me feel like that. We hung out as much as possible, except for when he had hockey and we were always together. He wasn't just my crush, he was my best friend. Although he never asked me out, it was like we were a couple. We held hands, we cuddled, he hugged me from behind, he kissed my forhead, and he kissed me all the time. Looking back, it was almost too perfect." Ally bit her lip, trying not to show how hurt she was. She blinked a couple of times and took in a deep breath. "Anyway, I texted him and he just never answered. He hasn't answered since the fourth of July when he never showed up for my house party. And he clearly doesn't have anything going on becuase he is here with that Camila girl!" Ally sighed. Dinah looked straight at Ally. From her look you could tell she was sincere. "To tell you the truth Ally, I know how hard that is. I'm so sorry this is happening to you. My five month anniversary with my boyfriend, Josh

, is coming up soon, but I know where you are coming from. And it really sucks that your time in Cali has started out like this! But stick with me and I'll show you how to have a good time!" Dinah winked and gave Ally hug. Ally looked around and saw Camila staring at her from across the pool.
