The world views our kind as monsters, beast ready to slaughter at any given notice. Like we're empty inside with no conscience or understanding of empathy or love.

Because of people like Larsen we have been wrongfully judged. This isn't the first time I've had to fight for our right to be seen as more than monsters. Yet this is the first time it's felt so personal so raw.

I don't know what frustrated me more, the fact I didn't know why or the fact that I had to witness a bunch of spineless pack wolves act against everything we stand for. Not only our laws but our complete nature.

For years we've chased Larsen trying to clutch on anything that fell within arms reach to build a case. He has always been so many steps ahead of us. Not this time, as I stood outside the pack house trying to calm my inner beast and control my shift my agitation grew.

I thought Id feel satisfied by our small victory finally a half step in front of him and yet I felt nothing but need. Need for full satisfaction, need to bring him to justice, need to fight until their wasn't a breath left in me.

Breya entered my already chaotic mind. Each time I thought of her the image of her under the wolf haunted me. Yes she showed bravery and definence but it didn't mean it was easy to see. Her inner strength blew me away there was question about it.

Her physical strength however reminded me of why we had to help her. It only  added to my motivation to strip Larsen of his undeserving title. There was no denying that this was about to get serious and ugly. Myself and 'wolf' wanted her away from this Safe and untouchable.

Away from these cruel excuses of wolves. How could we justify taking her choice away though?. Yes we could remove her from here without a word of warning, but then we'd be just as bad as the rest of them.

Gaining even one ounce of trust or faith from her was mostly impossible. We couldn't claim we were different then remove her right to make a decision about her whole life.

I can't imagine the pain and suffering she has endured. I can though use my imagination. I've only seen snippets of the abuse she's received but it seemed to much for me to even think about.

"how is she?"

My voice was shakey from the fear of not knowing she was ok,and the anger I felt rise at the thought of her unbearable life.

"sleeping, her ribs are in bad shape colby"

Naturally we felt concern for her, as we would anyone that was subjected to this level of harm, or any kind of harm for that matter. We both knew their was more to it than that. I hat to grit my teeth to stop a roar of displeasure escaping my mouth. My next word felt like poison in my mind.

"it has to be her choice"

The growl that ranged through my mind confirmed 'wolf' felt the same way I did. Before we could even begin to uncover the mystery of breya we had to remove Larsen.

"I know"

All we could do is hope thst she would agree to leaving, getting away from this before it got even more dangerous. My instincts were screaming at me, telling me she wouldn't. Even if she did decide to stay and see this through along side us I couldn't blame her.

I had to prepare make sure he couldn't blind sight us. If she was going to stay like I believe she will,we have to make sure she is protected.

"Jamie meet me outside the pack house"

I couldn't wait until morning to find out her response without having something set in stone now. Larsen was sly, calculating but most of all he was smart. We had to make sure we had a solid plan in keeping her out of his grasp.

No longer than a moment passed before Jamie was stood beside me. Beside wolf I trusted him with my life. Despite his immature nature he was the best of the best. His input in this was crucial.

"are the claims true?"

His serious demeanour caught me of guard. His usual chiry attitude gone as he ask for confirmation about Breya.

"yes, but it's worse than we could of ever imagined"

I felt the anger radiating of him, confirming he got the message.

"I recommend nova and Evan take her back to the Royal pack"

"only if she agrees"

I felt his confusion as my statement, normally in situations where a pack member is being mis treated typically an omega we intervene and get them to safety. This time we had no choice but to do it differently.

We not only needed Breya and what she knew, but she was human he sense if trust and loyalty was taken from her. We had to gain it or we stid no chance at winning this.

"what do you mean? We can't just leave her here if what you say is true"

Growling out my wolfs distaste for being challenged, Jamie quickly bowed his head in submission. His wolf quickly remembering his manners.

"we have no choice but to let Breya decide what she wants to do."

"and  you think she is going to chose to stay?"

Nodding my head to confirm his thoughts he released a sigh of frustration. He hadn't even seen her but I understood where his frustration came from.

"what do need me to do?"

I couldn't help but to feel pride, he didn't like the fact we were giving her a choice he didn't agree. Yet his trust in me and his loyalty overtook his need to confront it.

"I need you to choose someone else and it is your soul responsibility to make sure she is never left alone"

"I will brief finn... What are you going to do now Beta?"

I couldn't help but to let my smirk slip. I've wanted to do this since I arrived it meant we were one step closer to pulling the curtain of his wrongs.

"I'm going to interagate the pack"
