Chapter 56

After dinner Niall went into the living room and put the Finding Nemo DVD in the DVD player after that he went and retrieved the Candyland game from the closet. "Lou are you ready for the movie?" Niall asked patting the empty spot on the couch.

"Yes Niall," Louis said excitedly as he toddled over to Niall. Niall lifted Louis onto the couch and covered them under a blanket as the movie began. While the movie was on occasionally Anne would peer in and smile seeing Niall and Louis watching the movie. She couldn't help but take a picture of the two to send to Liam and Harry.

As Niall and Louis continued watching the movie the phone started ringing. "Hello Styne residence?" Anne said into the phone. "Hi Anne its Liam," Liam said into the phone. "Hi honey what's up?" Anne asked. "Nothing much just wanted to check on Louis since he was sad about leaving us in the hospital," Liam said concerned.

"Louis is fine now; he was a little upset and wanted to take a nap which was fine but now he and Niall are currently watching a movie then after the movie ends they are going to play a game. Niall has been doing a good job of keeping Louis' spirits up. How's Harry doing?" Anne asked. "Harry's fine he was a little worried about Louis as soon as you guys left the hospital. I told him I'm sure he was fine and right now he's resting a bit," Liam said quietly as to not disturb Harry but still loud enough for Anne to hear.

"I don't want to disrupt the boys me and Harry will call later before they go to bed okay," Liam said calmly glad that Louis was having a good time with Niall. "Alright dear we'll talk to you later then give my love to Harry," Anne said into the phone. "Will do," Liam said as he ended the call. As soon as Anne got off the phone she went back into the living room admiring the scene of two siblings getting along.

"Hi nana look Nemo," Louis said as he pointed to the clownfish on the TV. "I see bud," Anne said loving that Louis seemed to be forgetting about the hospital visit. "Nana watch?" Louis asked cutely. "Sure bubba," Anne said as she sat down on the couch next to Louis.

As the movie ended Niall sat on the floor with Louis as he began setting up the board game. "Which color do you want Lou?" Niall asked. "Can I have blue?" Louis asked. "Of course babe it's your choice," Anne said. Louis nodded as he picked the blue game piece. "Nana play?" Louis asked. "Sure babe," Anne said picking the green game piece. "Louis won," Louis said as he crossed the finish line on the game. "Good job baby," Anne said feeling happy that Louis was coming back to his happy normal self.

"Ni thank you for playing with Lou," Louis said hugging his brother. "You're welcome bud," Niall said returning the embrace. Moments later Louis started yawning. "Bed time boys," Anne said. Louis lifted his arms in the air as Anne lifted Louis into her embrace.

Once Anne got to Louis' room she opened the door with Louis in her embrace. She managed to open his blanket she was able to set the boy under the covers and brought the cover up to his stomach, "did you have a good time today baby?" Anne asked. "Yes Louis had lots of fun," Louis said cutely. All of a sudden Anne's phone began to ring. "Well I wonder who that could be?" Anne asked trying to sound surprised. "Daddy and papa?" Louis hopefully asked.

"I don't know let's see," Anne said pressing the talk button on her phone. "Hello? Who is this?" Anne asked. "Is there a little boy named Louis there?" the voice asked.

"Yes there is," Anne said putting the phone by Louis. "Hello?" Louis asked into the phone. "Louis its papa," harry said into the phone. "Papa, papa," Louis said excitedly. "Hi babes how are you?" Harry asked. "Lou is good now," Louis said. Anne couldn't help but coo quietly as her youngest grandson was on the phone. "I'm sorry papa isn't there to read you a book or sing a song," Harry said sadly into the phone.
