"YOU COME BACK FROM HOLIDAY AND FIND YOUR BEST FRIEND MISSING. YOU SEARCH DESPERATELY, BUT NO ONE HAS ANY RECOLLECTION OF YOUR FRIEND EVER EXISTING. EVENTUALLY, YOU'RE SHIPPED OFF TO A LUNATIC ASYLUM, WHERE YOU FIND YOUR BEST FRIEND, WHO CLAIMS THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO THEM, BUT IT WAS YOU THAT NO ONE REMEMBERED."

In Senbu's small village, everyone knew each other.

Everyone knew Pish.

Everyone.

Everyone knew Pish had succumbed to his illness...

Senbu, being so distraught over the loss of his, at the time, one true love, chose to sleep.

He woke up twice in his slumber, though he's not sure why. He would later find out that the two disruptions had been bombs set off by some place called the "United States."

He woke up for good when his house was entered. To the regular humans, it was a deserted place, but had been cleaned and maintained under that same assumption that it was abandoned.

Two teenage boys had taken to helping clean it, the cost being that they did things.

Senbu laid low for a while, unsure how to approach the issue. The two spoke a language he did not understand, and had never heard before. What he also didn't know was that they both spoke their native languages, trusting the fact that the other could understand more than they were able to speak.

Senbu caught them in the middle of it one day. The taller one, a blond, pinning his companion against the wall and slamming their bodies together, making his ginger partner scream with pleasure.

It hurt, seeing that.

It was an action he'd done with Pish.

He'd ride Pish and let the boy pound into him, but always maintained control.

This ginger-haired boy, on the other hand, appeared to adore the feeling of being objectified and used. He would beg his blond partner to tie him up, or to spank him or punish him, though Senbu couldn't understand what he was saying.

Fibally, Senbu couldn't take it. He missed Pish so hard...

He shyly knocked against the door frame, attracting their attention. They jumped apart at the horror of traumatizing a child, as they assumed Senbu was.

Senbu cleared his throat and spoke, in his oddly deep voice.

The utter shock on the couple's faces were absolutely priceless.

He asked them what the flying fuck was going on, and they nervously explained that they were students who cleaned the place up.

Senbu spent a good while trying to explain to them that he was a vampire, and had been asleep all these years. Luckily, Edge understood modern Japanese, and could piece together what Senbu meant.

It was so odd, talking to humans.

The last and only human he'd had a strictly positive relationship with was Pish...

Even Pish...

Even Pish left him.

After what humans had done to his parents, he'd been certain he'd never see any good in humans.

But then Pish came along.

Pish was the only human Senbu had ever loved.
