UAAP Season 75 Finals Game 2
This is the second time that they're in the finals. Last year, on their first year, they lost against LaSalle and this year, sila ulit ang magkalaban. Si Den and Ly naman, okay lang. Sanay na nga rin kasi sila sa ganung set up kaya naging maayos naman. They've celebrated their first anniversary na rin last August before they started their sophomore season. Pero they considered at as their fourth kasi yun naman na talaga dapat. Their friends said nga na ulit daw dapat pero ayaw nila. Lugi daw sila kaya ngayon, 4 years na ang AD. Anyway, ngayon nga is game 2 na and ilang minutes na lang, magsisimula na.
"Ly!" Kief called, nagwa-warm up na sila.
"Ano?" Ly said.
"Good luck!" He said and smiled tas nagbeso sila.
"Thank you!" Ly whispered and smiled at him.
Kief knows that, that thank you isn't just for the good luck. Its more than that. He's been a chaperone for them rin kasi. Yung dating ayaw ni Alyssa, gustong-gusto na niya ngayon, just for her and Den to go out. Its either him or Jovee. Most of the time, Jovee but Kief's been a great part of it.
"Okay lang ba if I beat Mika?" Ly joked.
"Its up to you. Pwede naman, kung kaya mo ba eh." Kief said and they both laughed. "Ayan na si coach. Bye! Galingan mo!"
"For you, sige." Biro ni Alyssa tas nagfist bump sila ni Kiefer.
To make this finals story short, LaSalle won. Lol. Wag na i-detail, talo naman eh. After the game, they huddled inside the court.
"Girls, okay lang yan. I know we all did our best so no regrets. Basta, next season ibawi niyo kami, ah?" Dzi, being the captain, said. "We know you can do it next season. Stop crying na. Atleast, hindi tayo bumaba from last year, diba?" She joked and they laughed kahit na may luhang tumutulo sa mga mata nila. "Cheer up na, okay? I'm still so proud of each and everyone of you! Alyssa, Den, kayo na bahala sa team, ah?" She said and smiled at them.
"Ateneo, one big!" Sabay-sabay na sigaw ng Fab5.
"Fight!" Sagot naman nila.
After that, nakipagkamay at nakipagyakapan naman sila sa mga players ng LaSalle.
"Okay lang yan!" Kim said and binatukan si Alyssa.
"Two consecutive losses? Parang, di ata okay yun, Kim." Ly said but she still smiled.
"Sus. May tatlong taon pa. Kung gusto mo, sa inyo na lahat yun!" Kim said.
"Sabi mo yan, ah?" Ly said.
"Ly!" Si Mika naman yun. "Luh, umiiyak! Wag ka nga umiyak, akala mo di kami pinahirapan eh." She said and hugged Alyssa.
Lumapit din si Ara sa kanila, "Uy, tama na yan. Sama na ng tingin ni Den oh." Bulong niya pero nagbibiro lang siya kasi hindi naman nakatingin sa kanila si Den. "Joke lang! Congrats, Ly! Ang galing mo pa rin!" She said and nagyakapan din sila.
"Eto ba consolation prize ko?" Ly jokingly asked.
"Oo! Mas maganda pa sa championship, diba?" Mika answered.
"Hindi eh. Championship pa rin." Ly said and they laughed. "Nakakadalawa na kayo eh!"
"Next year! Kami ulit!" Ara said and they laughed again.
"Guys, picture!" Sabi nung isang photographer.
"Wait lang po." Ly said and hinila si Den, Ella, Gretch, Cha at yung kapatid ni Cha na kambal. "Game, sir!"
