Its been a week since the cafe was given to Den. Hindi niya nama-manage yun ng full-time kasi nga may pasok siya so her mom is the one na naging hands-on for it. Kahit nga Saturday ngayon ay may pasok pa rin si Den, so, Ruel let her have a leave to see if pwede na she'll just focus on it and leave work at the office permanently. Madalas din naman dun sila Kiefer so he also helps in managing the cafe.
"Uhm, tita, may darating po atang delivery mamaya. Di ko lang po sure kung anong oras. Basta within the day po." Kief said. Andito sila ni Mika ngayon. Kief joined the Draft Combine pero wala namang game or anything ngayon kaya free sila.
"Ay, sige. Its really a good thing na andito kayo to help and guide me kasi I don't really know much about handling a business naman. Si Alyssa kasi eh." Arlene joked.
"Sakit ng ulo ba binigay, tita?" Biro din ni Kiefer.
"Babe, stay muna tayo dito ah. Wala ka namang gagawin, diba?" Mika asked.
"Yeah, wala naman. We can stay here kahit hanggang mamayang gabi." Kief answered. "Si Jessey yon, diba?" He said kasi he saw Jessey na pataas sa second floor ng building.
"Yeah. Baka pupunta kay Luke. Diyan yun sa taas eh." Mika answered.
After some time, nakita na ulit nila si Jessey na bumaba so Mika called her.
"Jessey!" She said. "San ka galing?"
"Diyan lang kay Luke, may tinanong lang." Jessey answered. "Sino kasama mo diyan?"
"Si Tita Arlene tsaka si Kief. Daan ka muna." Mika said.
"Uh, hindi na. I'm kinda in a hurry eh." Jessey said.
"Sus. Tumatanggi ka na ngayon sakin ah." Kunwaring nagtatampong sabi ni Mika.
"Hindi naman. May nilalakad lang, 'to naman." Jessey said. "Bawi na lang ako sayo after nit. Promise."
"Sige na. Mukhang nagmamadali ka talaga eh. Kain tayo soon ah." Mika said.
"Sure. Basta after ko maayos 'to." Jessey said and smiled. Aalis na sana siya when Mika spoke again.
"Uhm, Jess. Wala ka bang balita kay Alyssa?" She asked.
Medyo kinabahan naman si Jessey, "W-wala eh. I haven't talked to her na din eversince she cut communication with you guys. But, don't worry. If she contacts me, I'll tell you agad." She said.
Mika sighed, "Please? Sobrang worried na kami sa kanya eh. Tsaka, miss na rin namin siya." She said.
"I will. Sabihan ko kayo agad, if ever." Jessey said. She hugged her bestfriend muna before she went inside her car and left. "The things I do for you, Alyssa Valdez." She sighed. "The things I do for love." Napangiti naman siya with that.
She drove pauwi sa kanila sa village which is sa kabila lang nung kila Alyssa. Umuwi siya ngayon kasi she wants to talk to her family. Pagkababa niya ng kotse, saktong asa labas ang kapatid niya sinalubong agad siya nito.
"Ate! I missed you! Buti umuwi ka. I was about to call you kasi magpapaturo ako sayo ng Algebra eh." He said as he hug her. He's James, Jessey's younger brother.
"Wow. You'll only call ate para magpaturo?" Jessey playfully asked.
"No naman. I just really need your help. Hehe." He said. He's just 13 kaya medyo childish pa. "Lets go inside. Mom and dad are cooking merienda!" He excitedly said and dragged his sister inside.
Dalawa lang silang magkapatid kaya close na close talaga sila sa isa't-isa kahit na malaki yung age gap nila from each other.
"Mom, dad! Ate's here!" James said.
