Alyssa had the CT scan done. She's also over the fever and is just resting in the hospital. Doc Austin said na nag-over-fatigue siya. Maybe because this is the first time din that she's been that busy. Hindi naman kasi ganito yung pressure and responsibility kahit na marami rin siyang ganap nung highschool. Nabigla din siguro yung katawan niya. After the CT scan, Doc Austin was really about to discharge her already but the fever stopped him from doing it kaya nag-stay pa si Alyssa dito. Two days na siyang andito and gustong-gusto niya ng umuwi. Ngayon, sila Mika ang andito.
"Ly, gusto mong kumain?" Mika asked. Ly just shook her head.
Kahapon, after the CT scan, she just went silent. Ayaw niya makipag-usap kahit kanino, except for Den eh wala si Den kasi tinapos lang talaga niya yung CT scan tas umalis na. Tinawagan kasi siya ng groupmate niya kasi kelangan na daw tapusin yung paper nila. Di pa ulit siya bumabalik pero nag-FaceTime sila kagabi tsaka kaninang umaga. Eto namang tatlo, tapos na ang schoolyear kaya free na at pwedeng-pwede na dito magbantay kay Alyssa. Dumating din kahapon sila Kian pero halos hindi rin sila kausapin ni Alyssa.
"Boi, kanina ka pa kumain nung uminom ka ng gamot. Baka malipasan ka, yari kami kay Den." Biro ni Kim.
This whole hospital thing is a real struggle for Alyssa. First, she hates the hospital itself, second, she finds it so hard to drink medicines. She has to chew it or dissolve it in water so she can take it. Third, she hates needles but halos every hour, may ini-inject sa kanya. And lastly, her thoughts is really taking a toll on her and she don't even know if she'll be able to handle it. All her fears coming to her at once.
"Why?" She asked. Napatayo naman yung tatlo sa upuan nila at lumapit sa kama niya. "Why does this have to happen to me? Bakit ngayon when I'm just starting? Bakit ngayon when me and Den are just having the time of our lives? Hindi ba talaga kami pwedeng maging masaya lang?" She said as tears roll down her cheeks.
"Ly.." Mika said and held Ly's arm but she pulled it away. "Sorry." She said. "Maybe, this is just His challenge for you. He's probably testing kung gaano kayo katatag ni Den. Ikaw, kung gaano ka katatag as an individual. He won't give this to you naman kung hindi mo kaya eh. Tsaka, we're here to support you. Andito lang kami lagi for you and Den, no matter what happens." She said and smiled.
"Oo nga, boi. Nalampasan mo na 'to dati, diba? Magagawa mo ulit yun ngayon. Magagawa niyo ulit ni Den. Kayo pa ba? You're one of the strongest, if not the strongest, couples we know. You'll get through this. Babawi pa kami sayo next season eh." Ara said and smiled at her as well.
"Ako, boi, wala akong sasabihin. Di naman kasi talaga ako magaling sa ganito. Taga-buwisit lang ako. Remember nung ginulo ko yung pagkain mo nung highschool? Talent ko yun eh!" Kim said and they chuckled. "Yun lang kaya ko. Pero, kagaya ng sinabi nila, andito lang kami para sayo. Alam mo naman yun eh."
"Thank you, guys. Kahit tinalo namin kayo, andito pa rin kayo for me." Ly said as she wipe her tears.
"Yan tayo eh!" Ara said.
"Ulitin mo pa, Ly! Di pa namin feel na tinalo niyo kami!" Sabi naman ni Mika.
"Grabe nga iyak mo eh." Ly said and chuckled.
"Sige, ah!" Sabi ni Mika.
Somehow, her friends' presence, makes things bearable.
Habang nagkukuwentuhan sila kasi Alyssa's willingly talking na, which the three LaSallian's took advantage of, may kumatok then the door opened and Jovee went in.
"Hi, Ly!" He said. May dala pang flowers at pagkain.
"Wag mo kong ma-hi Ly, hi Ly diyan ah! Wala kang kwentang boyfriend! Bakit ngayon ka lang?" Ly said. Naiinis talaga siya kay Jovee kasi for the past months, he's been her confidante na rin naman. She's very comfortable telling him anything and when Den left kahapon, she has no one to tell her thoughts to.
