Alyssa is already awake but is still not getting up from bed because she feels a massive headache and almost non-stop cough. Yesterday kasi, nabasa siya ng ulan kasi she lost her umbrella. May dala talaga siya kasi Den always reminds her to bring one but naiwan niya sa JSEC nung kumain sila ni Kief and pagbalik nila, wala na. So she had to go and conquer the rain kasi she needs to go home ASAP. First day din kasi ni Den kahapon and she forgot to give her the spare keys of her unit. Den texted her na naghihintay siya sa labas ng unit so nagmadali na siya. Wala din siyang kotse kasi dinala niya sa carwash kaya ang ending, tumakbo siya palabas ng school at pauwi ng unit kahit umuulan kasi mas matagal pa kung maghihintay siya ng taxi or magbu-book ng Grab. So, ayon. Sa dami ng nangyari, nilalagnat siya ngayon. Lol.
"Babe, wake up. C'mon, I can't stay long may class din ako." Den said. She's ready to go pero she has to wake Alyssa up pa.
And yes, nag-agree na rin yung parents nila na magsama sila sa condo. Well, they'll be celebrating their 5th anniversary na rin naman soon. Very soon. In 2 week's time, so yeah. And they've all built the trust sa dalawa kaya wala ng problema sa kanila if they live together.
"Babe, dali na. Malelate tayo." Den said habang nagsusuklay. "Babe, c'mon!" She said pero hindi sumagot si Alyssa. Den sat on the bed and removed Alyssa's blanket. She saw her soaked up in her own sweat and is shivering. "Hey, may sakit ka ba?" She asked sabay hawak sa noo at leeg ni Alyssa. "Shit, ang init mo." Sabi niya. She stood up and kinuha yung thermometer nila at nilagay sa kili-kili ni Alyssa. "Babe, wait. I'll cook lang for you ng soup ah."
Alyssa pulled her hand, "W-wag na, babe. You'll be late. I'll just ask Kiefer to go here. Or kahit si Ella." She said.
"You really think, I'll leave you alone here?" Den said. "Bitaw na. You need to eat." She said and pulled her hand from Alyssa and left the room.
Noodles lang naman niluto niya, para lang may sabaw. Its not as if she knows how to cook lugaw or sopas or any of those. She went back to their room and saw Alyssa sitting on the bed.
"Tinanggal mo na?" Den asked. She picked up the thermometer from the bedside table. "39.7." She said. "Iinom ka ng gamot, ha. Eat this first."
"Babe, pasok ka na. I texted Ella already. Papunta na daw si--" Di na natapos ni Alyssa kasi bumukas na yung pinto ng kwarto nila.
"Besh? Ang bilis mo naman." Den said.
Ella sat on the couch infront of their bed, "What's up, neighbors?"
"Neighbors?" Ly said.
"Yes, I have a unit here na rin!" Ella said. "I'm literally your neighbors. 828 'to, diba?" The couple nodded. "Well, I'm 827!"
"Seryoso ba, besh?" Den asked.
"Oo nga. Tingin mo ba makakarating ako dito ng ganun kabilis if I came from Malabon?" Ella said. "Mom and dad gave that to me para daw malapit ako sa Jam Sesh."
"So, pwede ka na dito everyday?" Ly asked with a smile.
"OA naman nung everyday, Ly. I need to work din, no. Pero sure, madalas niyo na akong makikita." Ella answered and smiled. "Anyway, bakit ka naman nagkasakit?"
"Nagbasa kasi sa ulan kahapon." Den answered.
"Nawala kasi umbrella ko sa JSEC." Ly said. "Okay naman na ako."
"Eh bat pinapunta mo pa ko?" Ella asked.
"Kasi Den won't leave kung mag-isa akk dito eh male-late na yan." Ly answered. "Sige na, babe. Ella's here na oh."
"Ikaw na muna bahala sa kanya, besh ah? Male-late na talaga ko eh. Tawagan mo na lang ako if may problem." Den said and stood up. Bineso niya si Ella at kiniss si Alyssa. "Wag kang makulit kay Ella, ha? Wag ka na pumasok."
