Its Den's last week of school. One week na lang and she can have her break na and can officially say that she survived her first year in med school.
"Babe, aalis ka ba ulit today?" Den asked. They're in the car kasi ihahatid siya ni Alyssa.
"No po. Why?" Ly answered.
"Wala lang. Palagi ka na kasi umaalis last week. Baka lang aalis ka ulit." Den answered.
"Miss mo ko?" Ly joked. "Hahaha. Hindi ako aalis ngayon. Gusto mo hintayin na lang kita sa school, di na ko uuwi."
"Matagal yon. I'll have to stay until 1pm kasi we have to finish a paper." Den said.
"Okay lang. Para diretso lunch na tayo after mo." Ly said. "You've never toured me pa sa ASMPH eh. I'll tour myself na lang." She said and smiled.
"Ikaw bahala. Pero baka matagalan talaga ako." Den said.
"Its fine. Pwede naman ako mag-stay dun, diba?" Ly asked.
"I don't know. Ask kuya guard na lang." Den said and held Ly's arm.
"Sus, easy lang yun si Kuya Rome." Ly said.
"Bakit, kilala mo lahat ng gwardiya sa lahat ng lugar?" Natatawang tanong ni Den.
"OA sa lahat ng lugar, babe." Ly said. "Friendly lang talaga ako. Kinakamusta ko sila pag umaga, diba."
"Oo. Gawain mo na yan since highschool eh. I remember how you always tease Manong Jun pag papasok at uuwi tayo." Den said.
"Oo nga. I miss Manong Jun na. Asan na kaya yung matandang yon?" Ly said and chuckled.
"Grabe ka eh favorite mo nga siya." Den said.
"Totoo naman." Ly said. "Balik tayo minsan sa NHS, baka andun pa siya. Bigyan natin ng pamaskong handog."
"Pamaskong handog, April?" Den said and chuckled.
"Edi, pang-summer na handog. Hahaha." Ly said.
Kahit talaga malapit lang ASMPH sa condo nila, parang ang layo sa dami ng napag-uusapan nila. After makababa ni Den, bumaba din si Alyssa kasi nga, she'll explore the school daw. Lakad lang siya nang lakad kahit di naman niya alam kung saan siya pupunta. Bahala na. Napadpad siya sa canteen and madaming tao pero tahimik. People here knows how important silence is to each and everyone of them kasi almost all the time, kahit canteen 'to, this is where they study. Wala naman nakapansin sa kanya kasi most of the people here don't really follow sports. Kung may makakakilala man sa kanya, ngingiti lang and hindi naman masyado magre-react like what other people usually do. Tsaka, kaya lang nila kilala si Alyssa dahil dun sa mga nangyari sa kanila ni Ace. She just decided to eat. May naamoy kasi siyang carbonara kaya napabili siya. Its her favorite. After buying the food, she settled on a far corner. Nahihiya pa siya kasi parang siya lang ata yung hindi student dito ngayon. Good thing, naka-white shirt siya kaya medyo hindi rin halatain. She silently ate there nung may naupo sa harap niya.
"Wait, Alyssa." He said when Ly stood up. "Can we talk?"
"I'm just waiting for Den. I don't have so much time for any of your drama. We've stolen enough scenes before, Ace." She said and naglakad na sa lagayan nung mga plato at iniwan si Ace mag-isa.
But he chased her, "Wait lang, Alyssa." He even held Ly's shoulder to stop her from walking. "I just wanna say sorry for what I did." Ly looked around and saw na wala namang may paki sa kanila pero she still went out. Ace understood na ayaw niya sa loob ng canteen mag-usap.
"What do you want, really?" Ly asked habang naglalakad sila sa hallway.
"Wala. I just really wanna say sorry dun sa nangyari before. I was a total asshole for doing that. I was also blinded by what I feel for Den." Ly knows that pero she still glared at him. "Okay. Sorry, sorry. I've learned my lessons. Kaya nga, I'm apologizing to you eh. Sorry, sana you'll forgive me."
