Hi! Just a warning that this chapter gets kinda dark and deep, especially towards the end. It's also the longest chapter I've ever written, so I hope you enjoy it! Thanks!

The next few weeks passed mostly without any incidents. Everyone was talking about Ginny and Cedric as well as the fight between Rose and Ron. Rose spent most of her time with Ginny, Neville and Hermione. A few days after the quidditch match, Hermione apologized to Rose and said that she realized just how little time she had spent with the girl. Hermione also admitted that Harry had stashed the Half-Blood Prince book in the Room of Requirement to hide it from Snape, but the boy was planning to go back and get it.

Rose learned from Hermione that Harry still had detention with Snape every single Saturday. Draco also had detention, but Rose learned that he often skipped them, earning him even more detentions.

Rose was laying by the Black Lake as Neville tried to find a certain plant in the water and Ginny wrote to Cedric when Hermione came running down. It was already dark outside and the stars were starting to fill the sky.

"Dumbledore just took Harry to find a you-know-what," Hermione panted. Rose furrowed her eyebrows in confusion for a second before realizing that Hermione was talking about a horcrux.

"How do you know?" Rose asked as she stood up. Ginny and Neville also made their way over to hear what was going on.

"Harry had to get his invisibility cloak from his room and he told Ron and me," Hermione explained.

"Where is he going?" Rose asked, panic lacing her tone.

"I don't know," Hermione answered.

"Mione, what if he dies? What is he dies and the last thing I told him was that I hate him?" Rose asked.

"He's not going to die," Ginny assured Rose. "He has Dumbledore with him."

"I know you don't want to do this, but Harry talked with Trelawney today and found out some bad stuff about Snape. I have to admit, but it's really suspicious. Harry wants us to patrol the seventh corridor," Hermione said tentatively.

"Why?" Neville asked as he grabbed Rose's hand to comfort her.

"He thinks Malfoy is up to something and since Dumbledore is gone, he'll do something tonight, maybe with Snape's help," Hermione explained.

"As much as I don't want to say this...I think we should. Just in case," Ginny said.

"Yeah...we should," Rose admitted.

"You know something that we don't, don't you?" Ginny asked Rose.

"Yeah, and I think Harry is right," Rose admitted.

"Let's go," Hermione said. The four Gryffindors all ran up to the seventh corridor. Ron and Luna were surprisingly already there.

"Rose, if we die tonight, I'm really sorry and I didn't mean anything that I said," Ron apologized as he pulled Rose into a hug.

"I'm sorry too," Rose said. "And I only forgive you for tonight. We're gonna talk once this is over."

"I knew you would say that," Ron said with a cringe.

"Let's start patrolling," Hermione said anxiously.

"Wait, Harry gave me this," Ron said as he pulled out the vial of Felix Felicis.

"Just a drop," Rose instructed. Everyone passed around the vial and took a drop. Rose felt as if she could conquer the world.

"Wow, this is fun," Neville said.
